Our trip to Cleveland Saturday to pick up our new Cardi puppy was successful - this is Link, he's 11 weeks old and a sweetheart of a guy. He's in one of his favorite spots, under the ottoman. He sticks to me like velcro all day long while the boys are in school and sleeps through the night (thank goodness!).

One question - I don't know much about the ears and what makes them stand up - do his ears look like they'll go up?

Link is sooooo cute! I love his ears and i think they look like they are coming up fine, they take a while to come up, I am not sure about cardi ears.. he is so adorable and we definately will want more photos ! oh i am getting such puppy fever!

Thanks everyone - I'm so in love with this guy! Right at this moment he's tearing up my office, though, he's pure **** & vinegar in the morning! I'll run him around outside in a few minutes. I think I'll pick up one of those fabric tunnels from the toy store for him to run through with how he loves to go under the ottoman.

Link is a great name! And what a handsome guy. His ears are doing great! Cardi ears can be pretty heavy and can take a while to go up. Wicca's brothers weren't up until he was almost 5 months. Cute, Cute, Cute....

I would love to know how your first puppy class went! I love going to school with Dillon- i loved it even more when we were in puppy kindergarten - in part becuase he was a little puppy and oh so cute to watch learning these new things, and becuase his whole class was a bunch of puppies, and they were all really cute!!!

Ah he is SOOOOO cute! I love puppies. He's got a lot of growing to fit those ears. Can't wait to see more picturers of him.

Hahahaha, about his puppy class....

He is the youngest pup there but not the smallest. There are 2 mini daschund sisters that are about a week older than him. Then the older and bigger puppies are a chow mix with fear agressive tendancies (oh, joy. stay away from MY puppy!), a happy blue merle australian shepherd and a pretty golden retriever. Link was shy, and loved the lesson on "settle". He settled so well he fell asleep. Then we had the walk on leash lesson and he was still asleep...we woke him up but he wouldn't walk. He just sat with a poor pitiful look on his face. I should have had a camera, he was adorable! He did very well with the "pass the puppy" game though, he's a cuddle bunny.

I gave him his first bath, which he hated. Immediately afterward he did his first frap! Then he rolled around on the carpet all hyper and grunted like a pig. I'm so mad at myself - I shot a short video of him doing that but I deleted it by mistake, along with all the photos from this past week - ARGH!

Now that Millie's feeling better they're getting along very well, I'm so relieved about that.

Sounds like a fun puppy class! I bet you will have more fun stories as class progresses. Glad Link and Millie are warming up to each other. :)
