this is tonight when Laura got home. It was a total surprise to her - she had no idea we'd gotten her.

and this is just one of her playing in the yard

She is so pretty! What did your daughter say? How did she take the news of Mandy?

You have two lovely ladies there. And it looks like they instantly fell in love with each other. You must be so pleased. Congratulations on both.

well, when she saw Sassy, it took her about 10 seconds and she looked at me and said, "Where's Mandy?" All I had to do was look at her kind of sympathetically and she said, "Yah, Mom, I know." She did cry a few times and said she missed her, but overall it went much more smoothly than I thought it would.

She absolutely loves Sassy. She's never really been around "puppies" before, so having this young, energetic dog is a treat. Ours were 4 and 5 when she was born, so by the time she was old enough to play with them, they were done playing. They seem to be getting along just great. I'm a bit worried because Sassy sort of has "picked" me, and Laura has to really work to get her to follow and play. I think that will change with time as Sassy realizes that the little person has way more energy than mommy!

Sassy has a wonderful smile and looks pleased as punch!! I'm sure she will have a wonderful life with you all!!

If your daughter feeds Sassy, and does some of her training, she will be more inclined to look to her as the leader.

Enjoy her!

Sassy is beautifully trim/fit. Wow on the greenie. My old corgi would get sick or the runs on half of one so I gave up on them.

It is funny how Chester will be excited the most with my son because he is the one with him during most of the day, yet he knows when I'm cooking in the kitchen, that is the place to be. And now he is on my lap - yeaa a day cool enough, I guess corgis don't notice humidity, because I am the cuddler. Have your daughter do the training, and where there is training, there is treats. Sassy will be following her in no time.

Sassy looks so happy, as she should be in your loving home.

Breezy-Get some closeups of Sassy whenever the opportunity presents itself. That face is precious and I'd love to see her up close...may make Bubba drool.:CUTE:

Sassy is beautiful!!

If your DD starts taking her for walks, or has certain games that only they play she will bond with her quickly, besides the obvious giving of anything edible.+WUBCLUB+

She will be 3 in November - at least that is what they told me. They were supposed to get me the stuff from the breeder (the family never had her papered, but she is paper-able), but they never did. I got nothing but just the dog. No food, no crate, no nothing. I thought it was a bit weird.

No, pretty typical when someone decides to give up a dog. We get most of the rescues that way. Just the dog. When we get more, we are plesantly surprised.

Maybe an 8x10 of Sassy for the inside of his crate would be a winner, Tana!!:CUTE: Oon second thought, I have to nearly drag him out of the crate in the morning as it is and with a pic of her there he may not come out for sure!! He's so lazy in the morning like he can barely move until he's up a few minutes...reminds me of me.

 we wouldn't want to slow him down.

I'm sure now he'd REALLY like her, as we noticed yesterday that she is in heat! OMG!
