Need Ideas on Alternative Word for "Wave"!

Ok, so I'm teaching Shippo to wave, now that I taught him to give paw, but I think "wave" might sound a bit too much like "wait" and I don't wait to confuse him. >^^;<

So, does anybody have any suggestions for a good cue?

You know, i use "wave" and i use "wait" and Dillon has never mixed up the two... Part of the reason i dont think he mixes up the two is becuase i also use a hand signal along with the word wave ( i "wave" with my little finger). I found when training Dillon that i would use hand signals and verbal at the same time and now i can use verbal only, handsignal only or both ...

I love that wave command, how adorable is it to see a corgi do it with those little stumpy legs! I get lots of oohhhs and ahhhs when Dillon does his little wave trick...
