Just for shots and an exam. She weighed an entire 11 pounds and 14 oz. :) I'm not used to small dogs. My last three dogs were a great dane, a 90 lb Old English Sheepdog, and Brees who is around 60 lbs. It's odd to have one weigh so little now, lol We talked about having her spayed, and we agreed to do that in November. She got her 3rd booster and kennel cough vaccine today. Shots really must wear her out. She's been sleeping all day like last time she got them. She also starts her heart worm meds, Interceptor, on Oct. 1st. The vet went ahead and gave us a 6 month supply of those. She has her pitiful face again this evening, but overall, a good checkup for her. +WUBCLUB+

I'm glad that she had a good check-up. Shots don't bother the Z's at all. They act like nothing after they've gotten them.

Miss Gambler has been a champ with her shots also, but Mojo always acts like she is in such pain, and if we touch that area she cries out and will try to nip. (Miss Gambler may be our Princess, but Mojo is our Drama Queen!). I will have to say that I have noticed that my two do tend to be sleepy after shots. As for reactions, I have a cat who had a REALLY bad reaction to a rabies vacine once, it was awful. I tend to be nervous on shot days, even though I know it's routine.

I love it when this site reminds me to give Chester his heartguard. I like to set it by his breakfast food so I won't forget it. Chester lucked out having so much attention in the Vet he didn't notice a shot!

yeah, we've figured out that Poppy is a major drama queen too. It sure didn't take her long to get spoiled, lol We love her though. Even my 'big dog' hubby has mentioned getting another corgi in a few months. Needless to say, she has stolen our hearts!

They are smart little dogs, and they definitely use it to their advantage! But you gotta love them even more for it. :CUTE:

Awww poor kid! They always milk it for all it's worth though, if they can get away with it! ;)

Ada sees her vet nearly every day... my SO's dad is a vet, he's the one who does all her "work". It's verrrryyyyyy convenient!
