There's actually a magazine out that is all about traveling with your pet. They have articles on places of interest and lots of advertisements for fun hotels and vacation spots. We have found it at Barnes and Noble. On a side note, we do travel alot with Ace and we always stay at La Quinta. It is pet friendly and doesn't charge a pet fee!

We stayed at a motel called The Purple Sage in Snyder, Texas, a few years back. It is just a locally owned, pet-friendly motel. There was a gift basket for Zip with a stuffed toy and some dog biscuits from Kitty Sage, the owner's cat. It was really neat staying there.
