I haven't posted much lately- anywhere, but I thought I'd post some new pics of the crew. Sadly, Sam is still on crate rest so I have no new pics of him but here are some of Wicca, and Vito (who was Jack)
Speaking of which- I can't remember if I even told you guys about the whole name change thing! When I first got Vito his name was Jackson- I shortened it to Jack but I have two friends with babies (of the human variety) with the name Jack so I was on the search for a new name. And, the more Vito was with me the more I know him for the true little jerk he is!!! He is the MOST bossy puppy I have ever met. He thinks nothing of charging up to a big dog and telling them off. Thankfully he has not been eaten yet as the dogs I train with are all pretty easy going but oh my, this little guy is tenacious! So, in looking for a new name, my friends and I thought that a mafia or tough guy name would be fitting. We thought of Vinny- which is pretty cute but didn't seem to work with him so well. And then I was saying that he kinda reminds me of Danny Devito- and I thought- what about just vito- I googled it and that is the actual name of the "godfather"....and he as a character on the sopranos (who was killed) so anyway, long story short the name is perfect and after an adjustment period (on my half) Vito responds great to his name and is doing awesome!
oh- the tricolor border collie is my friend dog Gyp....she is wicca's best friend!
