Zeke is adjusting really well in his new home. No crying except for when he has to go in the crate during the day. He is eating well, pottied on his pad this a.m., has had a few accidents, and runs all over the place. The first night he slept until 4:00 a.m. and the 2nd night he was still asleep when my alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. The very first day (yesterday) that he was crated, I had him in a borrowed collapsable crate. I put the crate in front of my couch. Sometime his crate was dragged to the front door. I am assuming that Zia did it. Sorry to be long-winded, just doing some bragging!

You aren't being long-winded - that's what this thread is for - we want to hear all about Zeke! That's too funny that his crate is mysteriously migrating to the front door!

That is so funny! These little dogs have an amazing amount of strength!
And I think everything is a communication with them!

Dear Mom:
Stop bringing these bossy, big-eared puppies home.
Love,
Zip

So glad that Zeke is settling in nicely. Sounds like you are enjoying being a puppy mom again.

I think it was Zia that did it because she wants to play with him constantly. I took Zeke for his 1st set of shots earlier. He didn't cry one bit. My vet (who has 3 corgis - 2 pembrokes and 1 cardigan) fell in love with Zeke. Said he had the "perfect corgi head."

What fun having a puppy again - Was Zia trying to escort him out the front door?
