Duchess reacts strongly to male sneezing. She rushes to the person as if she intends to bite them. She doesn't actually bite....yet. I am afraid she will at some point. She has went as far as to hit against my brother's leg with her nose. I can't get him to holler "ouch". She also is prone to do the same thing when she is being fed. I have tried to work on the feeding problem by making her stay quietly watching me prepare the food. When I am not paying attention she sometimes goes back to running into someone.
What catagory of behavior would this be?

Pushy?
Jackie used to do the same thing when I was preparing her food - it drove me nuts. :ARG:
I never actually directly addressed this, but I DID start making her wait to eat until I told her it was ok (I put the food down, and she has to keep watching me until I say "all done" and then she is allowed to eat). I think somehow this made her realize that *I* was in control of when she ate - not her. And now she doesn't crash into my legs anymore when I am preparing her food. Coincidence?+CONFUSED1 Perhaps.
Anyway, I'm not sure if you do that with Duchess now. But, if not, maybe it's worth a shot, just to reinforce to her that you are in charge.
As far as the sneezing, I am at a loss. Thankfully, Jackie is not too concerned with sneezing. Good luck!!+WUBCLUB+

Rhys does this, too (to any gender of sneezer)...he has no intention of biting, but it looks scary to other people. I can't sneeze the smallest sneeze without Rhys ending up right on me...sometimes right in my face.

The thing is, Duchess never attacks me. Male sneezing bothers her. Even a man driving past the house and letting out a loud sneeze. Duchess started barking.
She doesn't come after me when I am preparing her food either. She will sometimes run toward the cat growling, or after my brother's or sister's leg.

I have a friend who's poodle attacked her when she sneezed - a couple of times it got nasty and she was badly bitten. Sometimes we sneeze without warning - that's what happened with her and the dog was next to her or on her lap. I think the sound must be somewhat threatening to them to induce these odd behaviors. My two look at me if I sneeze - but it's more like "what the heck noise was that and do we get a cookie???"

Tucker and sometimes Lulu, will coming running from just about anywhere when they hear me sneeze. He runs, jumps up and barks. Nothing threatening but very annoying. They don't seem to do it when anyone else sneezes.

Milo runs after the cat if I have food or am preparing food. I hate it and am trying to stop the behavior but haven't been successful at it. So i'll be happy to hear any suggestions to stop this. If Milo sees me getting food ready, (mine or his) I notice he looks around to see if the cat is nearby. If the cat is he will do growl/bark and chase the cat away. Hate that!
Milo doesn't react to sneezing....but if someone does a raspberry, look out, he will bark.....jump up and go right into your face and bark.

Does he know sit/stay? If not teach that. Other ideas are to squirt him when he chases the cat and scold him.Or a can with a few pennies in it tossed in his direction when he chases the cat. Maybe even a 10 min time out in a crate for chasing.
