While I know we have all posted various puppy pics in random other places, I thought it mught be fun to have one Official Puppy Picture Thread, that newcomers can add to as they come also. What do you guys think? I'll start off with some pics of puppy Jackie at 4 weeks, 9 weeks, and 12 weeks . . . .

That is a great idea - to have a puppy album thread; I will add these two of Cody;
We didn't have a digital camera when we first had him, so I had to snap these pictures from regular photos - so they did not turn out well. He is 12 weeks old here.
And oh, that sweet little Jackie and baby Emma - Both are so adorable - how could you not spoil them:D

Ahhhh, love the puppy pictures. It's been a long time since there's been a puppy in my house. I'll have to go scan some of Zoe's baby pictures (Tab was older when I got him). Those were the days before digital cameras.
Keep those photos coming.

He was disgustingly cute! Poor Riley, she was the star of our neighbourhood until we got the new toaster! I had to ask people to make sure they greeted her when we went on walks!
Did you see the size of the feet on my toaster - should have known then that he would be huge!!

OMG! His little legs are so chubby and huge feet!
It amazes me that he has such a serious look on his face. In his adult pic he always has that wonderful ear to ear grin!

Maxi was 5 months when we got him so he was not a baby. Here are some the pictures of when he was first home with us. My avatar is the first pictures that was taken of him. He is sitting on my lap in the Jeep while my daughter and husband are in Target getting some "necessary" ;) new doggie items, they came out with two cart loads.

Abby was nearly 7 months old when she came to live with me, but these pics taken as soon as I brought her home, show how bewildered she was at being separated from her beloved family of Corgis, and just how much darker her fur was then.

She was so sweet looking Kath - you're right she does look bewildered!! Her hair - mainly her head from what I can tell, has lightened up quite a lot!

Okay - I got more - bigger this time.
This is the photo that I found on the internet and I saw the pup that I've circled and knew right away he was my dog. I don't know why, I'd seen tons of puppies, but something said he's the one!!

The breeder sent me photos and descriptions of him each week. Here he is wild and on the loose in their yard.

Try opening them in "paint" and reducing the size (image / stretch skew). That's what I do when I have that problem. You can reduce it by %.

OMG! These pics are hysterical...chubby Jackie, aka J-Lo in the first set of pictures, her belly was bigger than her buns, guess she matured in J-Lo! And Rupe's face was too stinkin' cute, those eyes were fabulous! I wish I had pics of Ponzo as a tiny guy, I have them but we didn't have a digital at the time I can't get them..Then only things I can share are Ponzo pics when he was a guinea pig practically! I have him at 3 days old and then one at 61/2 weeks...I will post them but the ones of him at 7 weeks draped over his Teddy asleep with his face skimming the top of the food bowl is probably one of my favorites and I won't get to share it!!

disraeli-This little program has always been easy to work with for me in resizing photos. In fact, you can resize them beyond half size.

04-13-2007, 05:57 PM
Amanda-P - maybe one of your friends has a scanner and you can capture your photos digitally that way - all the early photos of Rupe are with my 35mm camera and then scanned.
Tana - you can always send me photos and I'll resize them for you - no problem!!!!
Abbykat
04-13-2007, 09:33 PM
Tana - One of the simplest no frills way to resize pics is to use the 'Photo Gadget Resize' - it is a FREE DOWNLOAD (only 583KB). :D
All you have to do is right click on your pic, select Photo Gadget from the drop down menu, choose the size, then one left click and its done - giving you a new smaller & less KB pic - leaving the original intact. If it is still not the right size, just delete the new pic and try again.
You can choose one of four standard sizes, or you can set any custom picture size.
Supported OS: Win 98/2000/XP
Special requirements: None
Supported formats: JPG, BMP, TIFF, PNG, PCX, TGA
This is the web page which has a detailed description re the usage

DD: go to the individual photo you want to post. Look beneath it and you will see three wee lines - url link, HTML tag and IMG code. Just single left click on the IMG code (it will begin http://...) and that will be automatically copied by your computer. Then go directly to the message and single right-click and choose paste. The picture should then link like this:

Squeakers,
Was there a third duck there that somehow is missing,- someone appears to be licking her "chops"
No, no! No missing ducklings! Just tasting the air!
Actually, she has always been very good with other/littler types of animal. We don't encourage chasing or any agressive activity (except for seagulls on the beach!) and just a few moments ago, she was sitting out on the back porch having a wee rumble about something. I went to see what she was on about and there was a strange cat in the back yard. She clearly wanted to chase it, but knew it was a forbidden thing.
Her real problem is larger dogs - she seems to think that she is much bigger and stronger than they are and insists on rarking them up when she meets them. She does get into trouble sometimes - once, she rarked the same dog within a twenty-minute period and got "done" twice! How dumb can you get, I asked her.
