Our lilacs were blooming and my magnolia bush was just covered with blossoms and it turned cold and snowed. Our roof is half finished and waiting for warmer temps. It is pouring the rain tonight and Chip had to walk from the truck to the house and you would swear he was being beat every step of the way so Mom took pity on him and carried him to the house protected from all that bad rain.

It is like a blizzard out right now - you would think it was December. I'm tempted to put out a lighted Christmas decoration on the front porch just for fun.

Cody, Montrose & Dylan would like to invite you over to play in the yard with them. It is calm, 50 & sunny.:)

If you are looking for Spring, it's here in Chilliwack. Come fast though, you never know when it's gonna change!

It's nice here, too. Almost 80 today. I have the a/c running right now. I think the temperature and wind are supposed to be the same tomorrow...both about 70 something.

Cody needs to change his name to Nanook if your snow keeps up!

Well we sure missed our winter this year. Only got a couple of inches of snow all season.

The weather has been crazy this spring. It will go up to almost 80 degrees F, and then back down to freezing. Easter weekend we had a dusting of snow.

The dogs enjoyed it; the flowers didn't.

Seems like everyone is getting crazy weather, but the good thing is it is April and not November.

Delilah may get to see snow again tomorrow if the rain here in PA changes overnight! I hate having to drive a big rig when it snows!

Cody looks like he made the best of the snow. I think the groundhog is vacationing down near us. We have had temps in the 80s and 90s this last week, although we are supposed to get down to the frigid upper 50's tonight!

Linda, whereabouts in MD are you? Colin's parents live in Ellicott city, near Columbia and about 20 minutes outside of Baltimore :)

We are supposed to have 50's for highs next week, so we are happy about that - I hope you don't freeze in TX with those cold nighttime temps.;)

I live very close to there--in Silver Spring. I teach flyball classes on Saturdays up in Columbia.

There's a good group of corgi people in the area and a great club. Unfortunately I always seem to be busy doing something else when they have one of their events. And of course there's the club's speciality this week which I'm missing.

Very cool! Once we have our puppy, feel free to keep us (and the whole forum!) up to date on fun Corgi events out in your neck of the woods...I know Col's parents will appreciate us having an excuse to visit with a doggy in tow ;)

Yeah, brrrrr. from Houston where at least the cold frigid 50s usually means low humidity.

We had a 2 hr delay today ladies! And a leak in my closet, AHHHHHGGG! That was sure fun, getting the call to go back to sleep, I hear dripping and upon investigation we find it in my closet!
The winds and wetness is terrible here...Snowy, sleety, slush all over the cars and windows. Yuck, I want my 65 degree weather back, spring is my favorite season, but this is ridiculous.

Agreed! As I mentioned elsewhere, due to bad roads and downed power lines and trees we were cancelled. A snow day in April?! YUCK.

It was 79 here today! Our typical spring weather is cold nights/early mornings, and sunshine and warm temperatures for the rest of the day. The wind blew a little bit today, but nothing like Friday. We had gusts close to 60 mph. Lots of huge Weeping Willow trees and some Pine trees uprooted, roofs blown off buildings, street lights blown down, shingles missing, and our school zone sign was blown down.

It's been raining here for three days. Toby needs little hip waders to go out. Temp wise it's been in the low 40's with very cold gusts of wind that just cut right through you. Feels more like November than April.

I totally know what you mean, remember I also live in CT and i am missing seeing the sun so much. I got up this morning, once again, grey gloomy skies... and you are right, it is more like November than it is mid April. Still wondering if we will get a spring ! We are lucky and live on slightly higher ground and not next to the river , so we are not getting flooded thank goodness, but finding long enough breaks in the rain to get the dogs walk has been a challenge ...

What an image! They would have to be tummy waders, as well! :D

It rained heavily last night....Rhys hid in the bathroom, even though there was no thunder. Now, he gets scared even if it just rains loud enough to be heard over the TV!
Right now it is about 63, but it is super-windy. We have had bizarre weather so far this year in Houston.

ETA: I lived at Ft. Meade from ages 1 1/2 to 9 - I really like Maryland. If I get one of the MANY jobs I've applied to (grrrrr), I will probably be living there. :) Job hunting is so frustrating. :(
