The grand total from just the auction part of the Polar Bear Picnic is now tallied. Drum roll please ................ $15,522
There are other associated fund raisers going into the final total for the event, merchandise, magnets, a thank you Wayne and Susie fund, so it will be a while before the final total is known. Thank you guys for supporting the cause. And now a word from Susie:
Permission to crosspost was granted.
I have just finished typing in and reloading the 30 pages of auction bids.

To save me some time, if you were bidding, please go see if you won. If you did, e-mail me at polarbearauction@yahoo.com saying, "I won" in the subject line. Tell me which items you did win, and give me your full name and address so I can figure shipping costs. This will save me time as I prepare to pack and ship your items.
My next step is to get each package together with all of your items, take it to the post office or UPS to find out your shipping costs, and then I will notify you how much you owe. Believe me, I am as excited about getting these boxes on their way as you all are about getting them! We have a mountain of boxes in our house. Thanks so much to all the angels who donated and to all the angels who bought items! We'll be able to help lots of homeless and nekkid corgis!
My beloved former foster McNair and his family sent a group shot from the end of the picnic last night. I hadn't seen one in anyone's pictures yet. People came and went all day, but these are the hardy souls who made it to the end. (I think they were too cold to leave!) It's at the bottom of the page.

I am really pleased at how much we were able to raise for CorgiAid in such a short time!
