Unfortunately, he will only have them for about 26 days but the good news is only one anesthesia.

I'm sorry, I must have missed some threads, does Dale have problems with his toofies?+SAD+

Dale has an overbite and I am going to have his bottom canines pulled to avoid any problems.

I remember that you mentioned he has a slight overbite, I didn't know about having his canines pulled to help with that. What a good mom you are, he's a luck little guy.

Thank goodness for the explanation because my mind was going other places wondering if it was teeth!

Chip has an overbite as well and I ended up having a root canal done and the agony I went through worrying about him so I just thought I drove everyone crazy with it and not just a few. Hope this helps. By the way, his root canal wasn't cheap and it was very hard on Chip so I am hoping pullying the new teeth is going to be easier on Dale.

Bonnie,
Glad to hear that Dale's teeth came in so he will not have to go through two surgeries... one is plenty! so now he can have everything done in one day and get all the discomfort over with all at once ( if there is any discomfort ?)

Emilie:

Thanks for clarifying. I am at work so sometimes I am in a big hurry and only half post. Some people do say that it is painful to have those teeth pulled because the roots are so deep. I am hoping Dale's won't be too bad because he is so young and he has already had the baby ones pulled. I will be home with him for three or four days as he is having it done the Friday of memorial day weekend.I have been worried because no canines until just a couple days ago and he needs to be neutered the end of the month so it has all worked out.

Poor little puppers.+SAD+

I had a root canal done when I was 8 years old, and when I was 12 I had two extra eye teeth (in front) coming in and those were pulled. This apparently was not uncommon for girls.

My teeth have always been my achilles heel.

I'm at work too, Bonnie and not having read all verbatum, I got totally lost. His canines came in and you'rre pulling them in 26 days? I got lost there. It doesn't seem an overbite would be that big of a problem to have them pulled.

I have been worried because no canines until just a couple days ago and he needs to be neutered the end of the month so it has all worked out.

Poor little guy...dentist and urologist in the same month!!:TWITCHY:
