Today is Lulu's first birthday. She started the day by sleeping until 6:45 a.m. (about an hour later than normal!).
After breakfast I gave her the first present - a squeaky ladybug. Lulu loves squeaky toys! Of course now Ladybug is the prized possession and both she and Tuck want it. So they chased each other around for 45 minutes playing keep away with Ladybug.
She also got a new fleece jacket (put away until next year), a big girl Kong, and a new rope toy (they seem to be distroying one of those daily, never used to even touch them...).
If the weather gets as nice as it is supposed to, we will invite her puppy sitter and her dog Charlie to meet us at Jack's Drive In for a hamburger for dinner! Woohoo, what a day! I borrowed a camera (technical difficulties with mine!) to take her picture in the birthday hat and bandana!
