Wicca and I were at an agility trial this weekend and she earned three new titles! And she got another Q (clean run) that I have been working very hard to get.
She earned her Advanced Agility Dog of Canada title, her Masters Gamblers Dog of Canada, as well as her Starters Game Dog of Canada. So Wicca is officially known as Bluetrix a Little Wicca Majic CD SAADC AJNJS SHD SMGDC SSGDC
She ran clean five out of eight runs, and was listening, and doing her job. I for once was a pretty good handler.
Her Game dog title even though it is a starters title is probably the one I am most impressed with. In AAC agility there is a game called Snooker. You have to take a flagged jump, and then an obstacle of your choice- you do this three or four times- each time having to take a different flagged jump. In this game if you screw up you are whistled off- screw ups can be knocking the bar and still taking the next obstacle, taking an obstacle before taking another flagged jump etc. Anyway, Wicca and I have NEVER q'd in this game. We have been running agility since she was 18 months old....We have control issues and this game demands a lot of control- she can't take what's in front of her and she has to listen...so this has been a battle for two years.
If you want to know more about our quest for the snooker Q I wrote more about it on my blog- (about the game snooker, and how we screw it up etc)
Anyway, I am just completely blown away by her this weekend and wanted to share...
