Okay, this past Sunday was one of the bi-annual baths for my dirty duo. I made sure I had the camera with me.

Rupert during the bath process.

I like the way you hung towels on the front of the couch. I thought mine was the only corgi who dried herself off by rubbing along the front of all the furniture. :BIGGRIN"

Love the video of Rupe & Jem in the "air dry" cycle!! Jackie likes to dry herself by rolling around on the rug frantically. She acts like she's on fire . . . Stop Drop & Roll!!

HAHAHA... our corgis all look so sad and pathetic during a bath! :CUTE:

Great video, Deb. Your two sure know how to have a good time! I love Jemma's "roll and dry" on the carpet.

Don't look now, but there's a ball hiding under your armoire. +HIDE1+

Jespah

There are probably about five balls, several cat toys and at least one chew toy at any given moment!!! The good thing is there is no room for anything to go under the sofa or loveseat!! :BIGGRIN"

As to the towels. I keep them on the furniture as they dogs have such scratchy feet they can pill the fabric, they are over the sides as Rupert rubs them frequently - he was raised by my 5 cats!! +CAT+

Deb,

Is that just a weird angle, or do Rupe's front leg(s) always bend funky like that at the knee joint?

Just a little correction, that's the pasten, it's like a wrist joint not a knee joint. The knee joint would be the stifle on a dog. That's on the back leg where the thigh and lower leg join.

Yes, he's got a funky bend. He sits and shifts his weight to one leg and then bends the other forward at the pastern. Jemma's breeder noticed it and commented on it when we visited. He doesn't seem to have any issues with it from a mobility stand point.

Thanks Peggy - I wasn't sure if that was the pastern or not.

lol - sorry, I should've known with all the talk about pasterns recently. My canine anatomy is a little rusty

Anyway, heres an old one of Ein after a muddy walk :BIGGRIN"

It happens. We call it an east/west front.

Yup, it is.

OK. We went to the bark park today, and little miss Ein got very very tired and dusty running around and playing with everyone else. This is her cleaning saga...

A dirty bug when we got home.

Getting all the soap out - we tried to focus on her white areas (not that she would let us get her paws very well - she'll tolerate baths, but she doesn't LIKE 'em)

Chester says thank you for reminding me he loves the water and with our warm weather it is time he gets the treat of a bath - seriously. I could just see Link looking at him wondering if Chester was insane liking the water.

We came home this evening to find Checkers was in desparate need of a bath... the evidence speaks for itself...

Yes, Justin sure seemed to be enjoying the FRAP too!! I love a Corgi shake, it starts with the head and shoulders, travelling down to end in a good butt wiggle!! :CUTE:

I did notice poor Gator staring in from the outside missing all the fun!

He wasn't missing the fun so much as waiting his turn....I wasn't about to let either of them in until they had been washed!

Amazing to see a corgi fit in a sink when I have a bathtub long dog. Her expression is priceless.
