Gator loves sleeping with his head resting on something.... anything will do.

Of course... there's nothing like having a good snuggle buddy at nap time either.

I love this theme! Here are some of Jackie's various sleeping poses.
When I am changing the sheets on the bed, she likes to snuggle up in the comforter & pillows on the floor (bottom).
Jackie's all time favorite position - flat on back:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/71443492@N00/163099062/in/set-72157594172221567/
And this position is one she slept in as a puppy, but doesn't anymore (though it is still her favorite lounging position):

And this is one of her favorite spots to sleep, under the living room curtain:

It looks like Rupert, Dillon, Dylan and Checkers found a much softer place to land than some of the others. Dillon looks like he's in a state of euphoria on that slumber ball!! Are these precious or what?

Dave, Dillon loves his slumber ball, but even better he loves to sleep in Daddy's leather recliner chair - so while I happened to be reading through the thread, looking at all the cuties (and oh are they all so darn cute!) I hear this snoring... i look over in "Daddy's chair" and there is Dillon, snoring away, so I grabbed the camera and did a little video clip... i couldn't help the giggling... he was so cute snoring so loudly.

BIG sigh. The photos are adorable. Tucker, I do love your coloring, guess Pepper made me partial to it. Lulu is
Here was Pepper at age 14, like Gator with her head propped up, but in a location that will be banned for the puppy, like it was for Pepper on her last month. The 3 stairs up to the window landing are steep. The shade(window temptation) will be closed and I have no problem having clutter block the area. Besides, if we get a boy, he'll be too big to fit there!
This is nice memory of her sleeping peacefully, I don't think the paws were chasing a squirrel in her dream.

I just got back from my weekly Friday trek to the grocery store and saw your video, Emilie...I couldn't have kept a straight face either hearing that snoring.:BIGGRIN" I'll bet he really does that on his back!! He must have been dreaming about food to look so peaceful...what a cutie.

She looks so comfy there Merrie. Very sweet. Nothing cuter than all of these little sleepers. Sometimes their faces look like their eyes are squeezed shut really hard when they are extremely pooped out - like Tucker looks in his photo.
This one is Rupert on his 3rd day home - but I smuggled him to my office. This is him passed out after doing some photocopying and make coffee for me. :NAH:

Well, I think this proves that no matter what age they are, they all love sleeping upside down, with their head in what seems to be a most uncomfortable position. I took these pics last evening (It was still Friday here then).

We went back and scrolled through all the pictures laughing the whole time! All of the sleeping (and snoring) photos were so funny! Isn't Foto Friday great?
On a related note, Bethany just suggested to me that since next weekend is Mother's day, perhaps we should have a Foto Friday theme of corgis and their Mammas?

If you look closely at that book Toby has I think it says...wait, I can almost make it out-yep, that's what it says alright..."How to Win More Cookies and Influence Moms". Hey, this little guy is smart!! Looool
Jespah
05-05-2007, 08:39 AM
Jim and Bethany - we can do a dog(s) and their Moms for Mother's Day - I'll start the thread next Firday in the Non-Corgi Discussion area - that way the photos will only be visible to members. So if you were uncomfortable to have your photo for the whole world to see - you can post it there if you want.
It can be dogs with their human or non-human Moms.

Hey Squeaks - there's no time limit - feel free to add.
This coming Friday will be in honour of the North American tradition of Mother's Day this coming Sunday. The thread will be posted in the non-Corgi discussion area so that it will be private from guests. So if you have some dog(s) and their "Moms" human or otherwise photos, please start looking for them or taking them!
