Wicca and I went out this week to help my "field dog" friends. I was a thrower- Wicca got to play and swim after. She had a great time pretending to be a real bird dog though....

Without a doubt, Sadie is the sweetest, most mild mannered dog I've ever had. That's why I love this one...

MERCEDES the MAD DOG!! (Sadie's "given" name was Mercedes :NAH:)

And this is the more normal Sadie...

MOM...HE HAS MY TOY "NO:":!!

Taken the day she finished him. I'm kind of smitten with the both of them, though there are days I shake my head at their antics.

It is a great photo - and one day, many years from now she will be thrilled to have it!

I highly recommend Lois for photos. She does them at the shows or you can go to her studio. The ones I had done of Moose and Russ were taken by her in February and we will be using them for ads in the next Cardigan Bulletin.

I took a little video today of Link chasing tennis balls with Erik, and what happens when the ball gets lost (he gets yelled at by "the boss"). I don't know why the quality is so poor, I must have fudged up my camera settings again.

(I looked all over the site but can't find how to post a video with the picture preview, so it's just a link)

Our very good friend Rob came to stay with us for a few weeks this summer - he's leaving for grad school to pursue a Ph.D. in astrophysics (!!!) soon, and crashed out our place while finishing up some research at Villanova. He stayed for similar reasons last summer beginning a few weeks after we brought Mac home, so Mac is pretty convinced at this point that Rob lives with us; Mac gets VERY excited and happy whenever Rob is around.

So here are the two lovebugs a few days ago ;)

Mtoy,

I finally got a reaction from Delilah today from a dog barking on the computer. The one she went nuts over was Millie barking at Link over the snow (eating snow video). She even stood up on her hind legs, front paws on my knee to see the screen and listen. Her ears were acting like little radar screens - back and forth......

:LAUGH:Yes, Millie's famous shrill bark will work on anyone, human or beast!
