The funniest thing was when he was all set to go up the stairs (steep) into Barbara's motorhome. He had his paws on the second step and was nearly vertical and I guess he expected someone to lift the rear of the cart for him.

Kassie, Please feel free to copy this and substitute your own dogs pictures! I had great fun making it. Anyone here has my permission to use this for themselves or on anyother website.

We had such a great time this weekend! I wish we could have stayed a few more days - Barbara and Gary really timed it right. It's always so funny to me how Corgi people really "get" each other. Anyone who comes to a campout designed around Corgis, love to talk about their dogs and love hearing about yours! The beach was great and the campground was dog-friendly. I hope we can go there again!

I must say that you probably wouldn't have enjoyed the storm that hit the beach Sun night and part of Monday Laurie. But we just hunkered down watching DVDs until it passed and then got out on the beach again with the dogs.
They both insisted that we keep checking that same site to see if their friends where back, and even tried to get us to wait a few times.
Jane said that she would look into having another MeetUp there next year, Gary and I are going to go back to Grayland again that is for sure. It's one of our favourite campgrounds now. And of course having 'Corgi Frineds' with us anywhere makes it special.+HUGGLES+
Maybe Port Orchard as a campout this season too.

I'm already looking forward to our next camp out!
I thought it was fascinating how the dogs seemed to immediately "get" that they were a pack and they pretty much stayed on the campsight even without being leashed. Even the naughty ones like Midge stayed with the pack while everyone was together on the group site. Then when the group started to disburse on Sunday morning, she was back to her old tricks again! Thanks so much to you and Jamie for organizing such a wonderful time Jane!!
We certainly hope that there will be time enough to have another camping trip with all of you this season. Gary and are going to look at a small one burner campstove when we go to Cabellas on Friday just so that we can make more of those special ommelettes for our next camping trip in a few weeks.

Barbara was telling me about those omellettes last night - would you mind posting the "recipe" in the recipe forum?? I bet some of the other campers here would love it too.

Sure, I think I have the recipe in my e-mail somewhere and I'll find it and post tonight. The person who sent it included pictures, so I'll try to figure out how to post those too.

Whatever amount of cheese was suggested, I added double of my old & sharp shredded cheddar.:BIGGRIN"
And thanks to the corgi camper that set out the asparagus to share, it was a really tasty addition.+TUP+

The omelettes were really fun. I could do that in the trailer on the gas stove and have a lot less cleanup than using a frying pan, plus I bet you could premix the ingredients.
I wouldn't want to add the moisture of boiling water to the air in Washington, but in California that wouldn't be a problem.
