Could someone post a video (with sound...or is that possible?) of the famous corgi Arooooo? Sadie seems to have two vocalizations only - loud and louder!:NAH: I've never heard her make an arooooo sound. I'd love to hear one!

Oh my, not sure how I could catch that. In my household it's a special greeting from Jemma - on rare occassions and Rupert loves to aroooooo people he meets - he usually scares them until I explain it is "helloooooo" in Corgi-speak!
Just fly out here and Rupe will demonstrate in person!! It has body languege that goes with it!! :BIGGRIN"

Danny does an arooooo when I'm making his breakfast, but he's finished it now. Maybe tomorrow we could have the camera out and capture him.

Rhys doesn't really "arroooo", but Andy does a PERFECT one! However, it is not frequent and always happens when she is trying to get her brother to keep playing with her.
I wish I could catch it for you and record it - it's adorable! :CUTE:
Millie does a perfect one. Unfortunately she's also a champion camera shunner, so she would go into shut down mode if she saw the camera while "Arooooooo-ing". What a priss.
Link doesn't do it. But he can howl...

Is "arrooooo" the same as Mac's Chewbacca noises?
Is "arrooooo" the same as Mac's Chewbacca noises?
Link makes Chewbacca noises too (his nickname is Chewy) and they are totally different from the Aroooooo.
:LAUGH:So silly - describing these corgi noises!

That is my ALL TIME favorite YouTube of a Corgi. Can't get enough of it.
Daisy only arooos, following lots of barking, when she gets excited about a noise that disturbs her, usually in the middle of the night, darn it :ARG: (maybe she hears coyotes?). But she did echo me once during a "moment". Sorry if that's TMI folks but it was hilarious.

How to Talk Like a Corgi - classic!
For me, though, it's tied with Sparky's Kibble Dance (http://youtube.com/watch?v=dhRWJuVGZ2M) :BIGGRIN"

Bella makes "chimpanzee noises" when she plays with Rudy. She will occasionally "AARROO" and I love it. Rudy makes these really loud "RRRRAAAHH" noises, kind of like a growl, but when he is playing. Is that the Chewbacca noise? Sorry I'm one of the few people in the world who has never seen any Star Wars movie!

The chimp noises are probably what we call Chewbacca noises - Rupe does them and I call them his baby gorilla noises!!

This is by far my favorite corgi YouTube ever, but I'm still not sure which one is the AROOOO! I watched it again paying very close attention, but I just can't find something that sounds like aroooo for sure.
How does Herbie describe this sound? I'll just have to force myself to watch it again to hear it for myself!

Well Jinjo actually talks!!! He'll march up to you and say "I waa foooooD!" So of coarse you have to give him some. Then there is always the, someone is leaving but you can't leave until Jinjo has tried to invite himself with a "Gooooooo."
Dang it, I wan't a digital video camera, and better internet so I can actually upload things!

Aine talks too! Full sentences sometimes. I love you, wanna go, now!, out. And of course some unintelligible sentences when she is telling us off for something and we're probably glad we don't understand!

Is THIS the famed "arroo"? Someone on another Corgi community we belong to posted this asking if anyone else's Corgi makes this noise.
This is Hamlet, aka Hammy :BIGGRIN"

Nope. That's not it. That's more like the vacuum cleaner alarm. I'll have to try to capture Jack arooing and/or Candy talking.

Danny did a very nice Aroooo waiting for his breakfast this morning. I

Chloe is very vocal - she Aroooos, Hellrooooo, yawn talks. and other growley sounds when playing...
and I am very happy that Sophie is also a Talker. She does a lot of baby growly talking 1st thing in the morning - she tries Aroooo but like most babies she mixes up her vowels and she sounds more like Pirate Sophie .... aaaRRRRRRRRRRggggg matey +PIRATE+
