so i have another question, wats new hahaha. sooo, im sure some of u have seen dog whisperer, and on that show the guy will suggest that when people don't have the time to walk their dogs for long, to increase the intensity of the walk by either biking, rolloerblading ORR by putting a doggie backpack on the dog n weigh it down with stuff. So i was thinking of doing this for starfox...and not because i dont have time to walk him (i walk him a minimum of 1 hr a day...normally he gets 2 one hr walks, or an hr walk n 30 minutes of rollerbalding). just that allll the walking i do with him never seems to be enuf. hes a VERY high energy dog! n i kno he gets a lot of walking time but i still feel bad when hes so restless in my apartment =( so i was thinking of getting him a doggie backpack and putting some water in it as weights. but the things is, im worried that it mite be bad for his back or hips since hes so long n short  lemme kno wat u guys think!!! thanx!

Actually, if you don't have time to do a lot of physical exercise, I would suggest doing some mental exercises. I have found that Rally exercises are great for my dogs, but you can also do some hide and seek, find the ball, and whatever other stuff your dog likes. Anything that gets them thinking.
Don't get me wrong- Corgis need physical exercise, but just as a supplement on a rainy day and as an addition to their exercise, it's good to work their brain too.

I agree! If he's already getting that hour of physical exercise that's probably enough...if he needs more it might be ht mental stimulation is enough (it's sometimes even MORE tiring for them than physical exercise!). A training class of any sort for Starfox once a week or so has all sort of unseen benefits for you both. I've found that class and a few minutes of practice a day for Mac is great...and he LOVES practicing at home. We do on-the-sport stuff all the time, but I try to take a few minutes a day to break out the cheerios and do some focused practice.

ive never done rally exercises with him...what types of exercises do these consist of??? and ive also never got him to find things...do u use treats for him to find?? as hes not a retriever dog at all i dont think hed go looking for one of his toys if i hide it...hed probably jus leave the toy for dead
i really want to take him to obedience class but the thing with that too, is...im a student and don't have a car =( so ive been trying to find somewhere near me that i can walk to...but this hasnt been too sucessful altho i have one last place to check that someone told me about! he is under constant training tho since i am home with him most of the day and would like him to eventually, hopefully soon, become a therapy dog. This isnt the same kind of training as say the basics or agility, but more the like, he learns to be calm before he starts playing and he learns to be calm when we're done playing. or things like when we walk if there is a group of people i get him to sit and ignor them as they go by unless they come to him to pet him...since as a therapy dog not everyone will want to meet him he cant be running up to everyone that passes him...so i find this kind of training is more constant but not so...intense or hard for the brain...i guess u could say???
i am going home at the end of this semester for 3 weeks and my mum said that i could get some one on one lessons wit starfox so i will be doing that and hopefully they will give me some exercise to do with him at home too =)

Skip the extra weight- the worst thing for your dog is to carry extra weight! (Don't let him get fat.)

I agree with all of the advice. I don't think extra weight is good for him and yes, the longer back can be a problem. Since I can't see him I can't tell if the length is in the loin or rib cage. And those with long loins (even dogs with longer legs) should not carry extra weight.
IMO, the dog whisperer does not know it all.
An hour a day should be enough for your dog. If he's looking for other things to do he needs a good chewie or as others suggested mental stimulation. He needs to learn to entertain himself not expect you to enterain him constantly.
