Louie is now 11 months old and spoiled rotten. I have been home with him since we got him and he is my shadow. Mike and I had a trade show this weekend, so we left the house at 130pm on Friday and got home Fri night at 730pm. We were not gone for very long. Louie was so mad at me for being gone that he would not even look at me. I couldn't even entice him with puppy cookies or any treats. He was fine with Mike (whose fault it was that I had to leave.) So when it came time to go to bed he wouldn't get in bed and cuddle at all. He slept in the chair next to the bed. I woke up at 330am and he was in bed with me. In the morning he was fine and happy, back to his old self.
So we left Sat morning at 6am and got home at 830pm. He was mad at me for about 30 minutes and then he got over it. So I wonder if I will get any spoiled puppy attitude today when I get home. We shall see.
Does anyone else have this issue when they go away? I have one spoiled pup with an attitude!!!

Ahhhhh, poor baby Louie! +WUBCLUB+
I never get the cold shoulder, gees I take out the garbage and I'm greeted like I've been away for months!!
I've left mine for a week at the most. They are at someone else's home, so maybe that helps ease things, I don't know. They go nuts when I come back and then go crazy when they get back home. I tend to get the cold shoulder from the cats more than the dogs.

I've yet to be away from Levi for longer than the regular work day since he hasn't been here that long, but I love coming home because I can count on him to be SO excited to see me!

Just got home and Louie is fine. No Puppy attitude today.
He didn't even get this upset when I had my back surgery and was gone for 3 days. He must have known I was sick.
He sure is spoiled having Mom home all day. And this winter I didnt go out alot because of healing from surgery.
If I ever go back to work he will not be a happy boy!!!
And to top if off my daughter was here with him the whole time, so he wasn't even home alone.

If any of you have long hair/have kids with long hair, you'll understand this story:
Dad's just don't brush long hair right. It's not that it's always BAD, it's just not the way mom does it. Ever. Ask any little girl, I swear it's a universal constant!
Well if I've been gone, Spree stays with my dad. She has the EXACT look and attitude as "Dad brushed my hair this morning." It's hilarious and awful and I feel so bad for her cus I've been there and know what she's talking about. My dad, god bless him, tries really hard but just isn't an animal person. He can follow all the directions as they were laid out, but it just doesn't come togehter the way any of us would expect lol
I have a trade show next month, then a few days home, then a few more days at another trade show. Let's just say Spree's gonna be one happy pup, deserving of a biiiig treat when it's all over!
