Milo and his kitty brother Mieko have organized....against me.
Last week I heard a rustling noise and Milo "talking." I tip-toed out to the kitchen and peeked around the corner to see Mieko on the counter with a large bag of beef jerky in his mouth, dragging it to the edge....and dropping it on the floor. He jumped down and Milo went to the bag and was sniffing at it and Mieko was trying to stick his paw in the bag.
Milo growled, grabbed it and turned around, saw me and froze. Meanwhile Mieko grabbed the bag and tugged... and that unfroze Milo and he took off with the purloined jerky with Mieko in tow. So Mieko is chasing Milo and I am chasing them both. By the time I caught up to Milo he was upstairs in the guest bedroom furiously trying to get that bag open.
I got the jerky and he barked and jumped up at it while I went back downstairs...of course he followed me, and Mieko followed us...meowing his head off. :ARG:
These two are a pair! Mieko is a clever little kitty. I had to get child locks for the cabinets.
