Woofstock 2009 Toronto Ontario

While not a Corgi event per se, this is the largest dog festival in North America. It's fun to go to - over 200 vendors with everything and anything for your dogs. If anyone is thinking of coming, please let me know and I'll be happy to give you any info on Toronto you need.

I will be there again this year with Starfox, Toby (beagle), Maxi (mini sausage dog) and hopefully hopefully a national service dog puppy :SMILE:!!!!

This is where I first meet Deb last year! I didn't get to see too many corgis there (only two others) but it was a really great time!

So will Starfox and I get to meet Jemma and/or Rupe this year????

It will depend on how hot it is - not Rupe, with his fear aggression Woofstock is his worst nightmare come true! Maybe Jem - if it's hot and humid, then probably not. I found the first year I took her she was getting stepped on and battered about. We go as early as possible though, to avoid the huge crowds.

I will probably end up going early too just because I do not like big crowds :ARG:. Surprisingly, Starfox does fine in these big crowds of dogs as long as not more than one or two dogs try to pay him attention at once :TWITCHY:

That sounds so neat! There is a much smaller dog expo in Indy this weekend we are going, but dogs aren't allowed unless entered in the contests. Probably for the best though it would likeky stress the girls for opposite reasons!

there is nothing like that around here. Although there is Pet Expo this weekend I am going to go check out on Saturday. Woofstock sounds way more fun!

First off, I don't know how to link a photobucket page to here for you guys to see all the pics...so i'm just going to hafta post a lot of them here. a lot of them are non-corgi!!!! :SHOCKED: BUUUTTTT Starfox and I did run into a few corgis...4 actually...we only remembered to ask 2 of them to come check out this site so hopefully they will and will introduce themselves. AND if they join maybe we can have some GTA corgi get-togethers finally!!!! +JIGGY+

I bought 2 collars from there...the two on the right of the first picture...i LOVE them...the one on the left was a freebee from Ceasar foods. The blue wave one is going to be Starfox's "beach and summer" collar :BIGGRIN"

Hey Maymay,

I'm Sugar's owner! I remember you introduced me to this website, so i decided to check it out.
I'd just like to say, that i think you got the dogs mixed up in the pictures. Sugar is the corgi in the third picture, the one with the Converse shoes. She's not the one in the first and second pictures.
Sugar and I loved meeting Starfox. We saw 7 corgis (including Starfox) today!

there is an area of dog pools that is constantly refilled for dogs to go in and cool off. that is where Maxi's pic was taken.

Of course the year there are a record Corgis in attendance - I can't make it!!! Very glad you found us here though Abby - we are getting closer to being able to have a southern Ontario Corgi party!!
