The Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club is having their annual herding instinct test on Sat. June 13th. I've gone to this for the last 3 years and I'm very sorry to have to miss it this year, but we will be camping that weekend. The event is held at EweTopia in Roy, WA which is a lovely place to spend the day. The cost is $35 per dog. Dogs must be Pembroke Welsh Corgis (sorry to our Cardi friends! +SAD+), at least 6 mos old. Unlike in past years where we've had to wait months for the certificate to arrive, the club will be issuing certificates on the spot! You will still receive the "official" one from the PWCCA later (probably MUCH later), but you will also get something there to show to your friends when you want to brag!

I strongly recommend registering ahead of time if you are planning to go. All of the details and the registration form are at CPWCC.org, click on 'events'. If you have any questions, please PM me.

Maybe we can organize a pack of seagulls or something and have the corgis heard them down Grayland Beach!

OK Beth, you lure them into a circle first.:LAUGH:

Herding when we are on our Campout to Grayland Beach, Wine Walkabout &

CPWCC Specialty when we are on our Campout to Burlington.

We are certainly spoiled for choice as to which corgi event to choose!

Hopefully next year's dates will be a bit more spaced out and we can do everything!!!

If a few of you sit on the beach and eat tuna salad sandwiches - then you'll be sure to get a flock of seagulls for herding! You'll also get the attention of those Corgi noses!
