Sam was feeling left out....I haven't posted any pics of Sam on here at all- he has been stuck at home for the last few months with an injury and has missed all the photo ops....so I took some new pics of him this weekend...

Amanda, Glad you put some photos of Sam on here, i think he is a very handsome boy- great photos, no worries about the size, ummm i still can't resize all my photos so most are huge, I like them big, then you can see the WHOLE dog up close and personal!

By the way, is he getting any better? how is he doing?

he is doing better- but it is a long slow process...he is only going to physio once a week now instead of three times, and he only limps when he first gets up...thanks for asking!!!

Love to see the big photos! That's why it's great to put them up on Photobucket or elsewhere!

He looks great - whiter than white - how do you keep him so clean!!

Glad to hear that he is coming along, that's good, it's just time, it will come. Sam is always welcome here if he is feeling left out!

You should have noted that the photos were actual size, lol. Great photos, and very nice looking dog.

Sam is such a beauty. I just love that big white head of his! Don't worry about picture size either... I love being able to see the whole thing easily! Give Sam a big hug from all of us and tell him he better keep improving!

I'm just now meeting Sam! I'd love to hear his story...a white corgi? And does he have hip or back problems? I'm sure this has been covered before, but I'm trying to get everyone's stories sorted out still!

Sam is a blue merle mis-marked cardigan- like Susan's Lulu! The amount of white is a disqualification in the conformation ring- but he sure gets a lot of attention where ever he goes! He is a very happy guy who used to be very active in the agility, obedience and rally rings.
Leslie- (and others who don't know Sam's story) About two months ago he started limping on his left hind leg. i took him to my vet- xrays the whole works and they could find nothing wrong- not a cruciate, not a patella. So- I have been doing physio with him three times a week for almost a full month. Just recently we have cut it down to once a week. He went from no weight bearing to now where he will walk pretty normal most of the time. It has been a long time though and he is really missing being his normal busy self. He was fully crate rested for more than three weeks. Sam is a crazy little guy who is never still so crate rest was not something he enjoyed! Thankfully he is slowly starting to heal. My physio therapist thinks that it was a groin pull- and to accomodate he created a problem in his hamstrings and a medial ligament...

anyway- he is on the mend though- it will probably be a good long while before he gets to do anything super fun. In his off time however I have taught him lots of fun little stationary things.

Thanks so much for the update! I'm so glad that he seems to be on the mend - I can't even imagine crate rest for a corgi! And mis-marked or not...Sam is gorgeous!!
