Ooh, the pressure! I hope Bella and I can have some good runs for you to see. Rudy will be along , but not competing. The experience will be good for him, but I am planning to wait until next spring to enter him in a trial.

Wish Danny & I were ready for the Ob & Rally competitions there Oct 31st. Oh well, Gary is working Halloween weekend anyways.

Barbara,
I probably won't get the schedule until a few days before the trial. Bella has 4 runs per day, and it's a one ring trial, so she'll probably have at least one run you could see no matter when you are there.

Great! We'll time our trip into Lynden when you have your times. So nice that it's a short drive.

Barbara,
I got the schedule this morning for the trial. These times are my best guess as to when we'll be running.

Saturday:
Novice Chances 10:00
Open Jumpers 11:30
Open Regular 1:30
Elite Tunnellers 4:00

Sunday:
Open Jumpers 11:30
Open Regular 1:30
Novice Weavers 3:00
Elite Touch n Go 4:30

I'm disappointed they won't be letting us crate in the horse stalls near the arena this year. The only stalls available are in another building or they will have a small crating area next to the arena. Under those circumstances, I probably won't bring Rudy with me since he would just have to sit in his crate for most of the day. I can't leave him in my camper unattended or uncrated.

On a positive note, our judge is a Corgi guy! He and his wife are both NADAC judges and run Corgis - yeah!

Great!! We will be there Sunday! Are my leashed dogs allowed in the area?

Barbara,
Danny and Dylan are welcome in the area. They can sit with you and Gary in the bleachers to watch also. It's supposed to be cool next weekend and it can get a little chilly in the arena,so you may want to dress warmly or bring a blanket with you.

Thanks Laurie, and thanks for the reminder, I've been in there in cold weather before.+COLDG+

We *might* head out to the Silver Reef Sat after Gary is finished work, and then into Lynden in the am. That will be our last chance to take Roxy out this season.+SAD+

Really looking forward to Sunday!!

Yes, we'll be running in 4 events per day. NADAC trials usually offer 6 events per day but 4 is our daily limit. I found out the hard way that Bella's brain ceases to function during the 5th run of the day!

Yes, Rudy will miss Danny too. +WUBCLUB+

Thanks Barbara! Bella was a superstar in class this week, so I hope she can keep it up. But with Bella, you never know what dog might show up...if she feels stressed it can be a very short run. The great thing about NADAC is that you can train in the ring. Of course we wouldn't qualify, but I may be sacrificing some runs for training purposes.

Well, Barbara and Gary have to come to all of Bella's trials now! :BIGGRIN"
On Saturday, even though she had 4 very nice runs, we made some mistakes and only qualified in one of them. Then, Barbara, Gary, Dylan and Danny show up on Sunday and she qualified in every run! I'll have some videos uploaded to our youtube site later this week.

We had a great time - I was sorry for the weekend to end...:BIGGRIN"+WUBCLUB+.

Oh, and we all need to keep encouraging Barbara to get Danny going in agility. He was so funny! When the dogs on course were weaving, he would move his head a back and forth a little like he was weaving with them.. He got so excited when he saw the agility equipment and when a Corgi was running he could hardly contain himself! Very cute.

Way to go, Bella and Laurie!

Did anyone get the video of Danny? That would be too cute!

Congratulations Bella & Laurie!!!!+GWAVE+

Looking forward to the videos!!!

It was wonderful to get to see you two compete in an agility competition. Both of you run soooo fast!!

Besides our Miss Bella, the other corgis did well too. IMO the the corgis were some of the very fastest dogs there.+TUP+

And Laurie is being kind, Danny was actually at times a complete nut bar!:TWITCHY: He was making screaming noises, the likes of which Gary & I had never heard from him before. And I think that Gentleman Dyl was getting quite embarrassed at the youngsters behavior. He really got worked up when there were corgis running the equipment. But, when he heard Laurie, and saw Bella in, he became quiet as a mouse, & starred at them intently. I hope he was learning from lightening quick Bella!

I couldn't believe that the dogs, or handlers, could maneuver those courses in less than 30 seconds.

We four had a wonderful time watching & visiting with Laurie, Bella & their other corgi friends. Thanks for inviting us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Barbara, Gary, Dylan & Danny.

It was so great to have you and Gary and the Double D's there!

Bella and I haven't done a lot of NADAC lately, I believe our best chance for a championship title is in AKC. Even so, we have spent 2 long years trying to get our NADAC Novice Weavers title. She is actually a pretty nice weaver, but something stupid always happens on the course and we don't get it. We went up to the start line and there was some sort of problem with the timing of the dog that ran before us. Normally Bella might have gotten really stressed out having to wait on the start line for such a long time. It was literally a few minutes before they got it straightened out. She ran a very nice run and we finally finished our title! Then we got to the end and her leash wasn't there - so she had to sit nicely and wait again, which she did. She was happy and smiley throughout, which was such a difference from her a year or so ago. That was the highlight of my weekend. +CLAPPING+

I added a couple of videos to our youtube channel. Also, I added to photobucket a video of Teresa and Zhoie trying the distance bonus unsuccessfully. The best part of it is, about halfway through you can hear Danny screaming in an unnatural tone!
Turn up your volume and check it out
