Well, actually, the weather is quite pleasant right now. In fact we just broke a 160 year old record of having a November with absolutely no snow. Come on! It's Canada for godness sake!

So, I had to go back into the old photos to get some good frightful

This was 4 years ago, it was 30 below - at that point Celsius and Fahrenheit are pretty much the same. It doesn't seem to bother my dogs, I make them wear their coats and we don't stay out for very long, but they have a blast!

30 below now that's cold! We haven't had any snow this year and yesterday it was 61...in December! In New England. So here are a few pics of Toby from a year or two ago.

These were taken 2 years ago December...many of you know that last year we were dealing with Annie's emergent back surgery. So hopefully this year we will be able to get her back out into the snow! She loves to run, chase snow balls, and root around! :BIGGRIN"

Lovely pics...and I have to chime in: You realize it's been snowing in Texas since yesterday, don't you? :TWITCHY: But, like all of ya'll, we have had no snow in Virginia yet...we MIGHT get some flurries tomorrow.

Well, since we really don't get the kind of frightful weather here in FL that you guys are refering to, I'll have to use pics from when we were still in Utah.

I stand corrected. I just looked at our forcast for tonight and we actually have snow predicted after midnight. Granted, IF it actually snows a little it will melt as soon as it hits the ground, but still. If Florida gets snow before Canada we know there is something seriously bad wrong!

Here's the forcast for tonight: "Rain in the evening...then rain likely and chance of light snow after midnight. No snow accumulation. Lows in the mid 30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph becoming 5 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 80 percent."

Typically our area of FL gets up to 2 inches of snow every 10 years or so.

While it might be cold here -theres no snow in this desert area of Canada !!- we will get "some" eventually -
So here are really adorable photos of Elli's Family - her dad in the snow, Elli and her mom in the snow, and Elli as a pup in the snow. These were taken by the breeder in Illinois last winter

This is an oldie, from when my dogs first saw snow after we moved to Washington.

Merrie have you gotten snow up there yet? From down here in the valley it looked like there was some last week.
Beth (glad to be in sunny Palm Springs but my dogs would rather play in snow then sand)

Well I can tell you that Toronto isn't "Canada" - Amanda will tell you that they've already had lots of snow in her neck of the woods! There is also lots north of us, we are in a fairly southern position in the country.

:LAUGH:LAUGH:

and in Alberta and Saskatchewan they are getting dumped on as we speak -give or take 20+ cm (6 inches or more) of snow - all today !
Ya just gotta live in the "right " parts of Canada when it comes to winter weather:WINK:

Since most of my family is in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland believe me, I know some parts of Canada get SNOW, lots of it!
I hate to shovel it or dress for it but sure love to look at it and play in it with my dogs.
Xmas definately should have snow, never understood how they can have that full hot Xmas lunch in Australia in the heat.
Still.......not complaining here in the sun, (with alot of other Canadian Snowbirds)
Love the dogs in the snow photos!!!!

And even though I live up here in cold Michigan, if I want to go to the nearest part of Canada, I go south. Mmmmm, balmy Windsor Ontario! Maybe I should save it for January when I'll really be sick of winter?

Here is a very old one - Millie playing hockey with Karl and the boys back in 2004:

I love all of the pictures! We've actually had snow TWICE in New Mexico this week. I took some pictures this morning. I haven't downloaded them yet. I will tomorrow and get them posted.

All of the photos are so, so adorable! Corgis and snow, a winning combo, kinda like wine and chocolate

Corgis in red coats, love them!

Corgis in action, great capture!

Millie and Link... priceless shot!

Tucker and Lulu.... could you be any cuter?

Now I have to go dig up some of last winter. We are in Cape May right now and expecting some snow, a teaser not a sticker.

we didn't have snow yesterday morning, but I knew it was coming and well...it's here..

LOTS, AND LOTS, AND LOTS of cold wintery snow. We got about 12 CM overnight, and it's still snowing now. It is also cold, and windy so the snowdrifts are taller than some cars...the city is pretty much at a standstill right now.

The dogs however are LOVING the snow and we've been out three times already to play in it. (It's only 11:30)

Here are a few pics from this monring- there are more on my blog- http://manymuddypaws.blogspot.com

Here are a few of Miss Andy from last year...she had a blast! Our snow yesterday pretty much melted on the ground...it only built up a little on the cars and on a few grassy spots (and that wasn't enough to play in).
