He looks as if he's taking his new responsibility seriously. Probably saving his most dashing smiles for the patients, as he should.
Congrats to Danny and his mum!

Danny & I thank you all! It was quite a mile stone for us.
No, the D Boys will not be doing therapy visits together, one of them at a time is enough I thinK.:TWITCHY:
And yes he did get extra treats, & I agree, he looks so very serious in his 'uniform' picture. It's not his usual pose.
This is.

Congratulations Danny and Barbara!
Agree that Danny looks very serious and proud in his uniform. Guess he knows the important work he will do.
Had to chuckle at his relaxed pose  Ah, the many "faces" of the corgi.

Guess we could also say the many Sides of a corgi as well Connie.
Actually Danny was practicing a new trick, I say Bang! And he falls over. Except he keeps lifting his head to see if there is a treat coming.

Wonderful!
Does Danny lay down for a belly rub?
CorgiMum

Yes Merrie, when I ask Danny if he wants a belly rub he flips over like a cheese omelet!

 That is a great visual! I agree that the seniors will love that....
The playing dead "bang" trick is definately a crowd pleaser... that is one of Dillon's favorite tricks to show off.. .and yes , he too has been known to lift his head a bit to see if the treat is coming. I usually say "hey!! i said 'bang'" and he will quickly drop his head to the ground with a thud - it is really quite funny to watch.
I love Danny's not so serious pose... very cute...

As for Danny's "serious" face, he would no doubt say, "Being a Corgi IS serious business!" After all, think of all the responsibilities they carry on their short shoulders (herding, eating, making people laugh) Until it's time to be silly, of course. Work hard, play hard.

This is one Murphey loves to do too. We actually have him "stick 'em up" then we say bang and he plops down to the ground. I think he's mastered the looking at us without moving his head for the most part. They are definitely goofy dogs. :BIGGRIN"
