MNorning, Ya'll:

Here are some pictures of Zoey and Ziggy from their play date at the Dog Park in Coconut Grove. For once Zoey seems to have enjoyed posing for the camera.:CUTE:

The final picture of Zoey alone should probably go with last week's AHHH pictures, but I'm just so delighted to finally have a cute picture of Zoey showing her true personality that I couldn't resist sharing it.

Zoey's pals are: Ziggy, her Cavalier nephew, Benji the Basenji, and Maui the rescue puppy. The dogs, their people and I all had a great time at the park celebrating my birthday!:BIGGRIN"

4. Twerp (aka Tabitha the Twerp) with Trax
When Trax first joined our household- he was really a trial to Twerp. When she grew bigger (and fatter), she was able to put him in his place. Twerp died four years ago from lymphoma. She was 9 years old.

I was a dummy and never took any pictures at Link's puppy class+SAD+ but here are a couple shots of him with his friend next door Chewy. Chewy is also Millie's friend but she really doesn't play much with other dogs, just sniffs and ignores. We've never had Chewy and our dogs play together without a fence between them, Chewy's owner is a hillbilly type - leaves Chewy outside all day every day (Chewy has an obsessive barking problem, yay), has piles of yard trash, has his porch held together with duct tape (I kid you not), you get the idea. But the dogs have fun through the fence anyway.

I really need to find Link some friends now that puppy class is done. He'll be in more classes for sure, but until then it would be a great idea.

Rupert and his cat Tucker

Rupert and my friend's daughter have a little nap together after their big Thanksgiving dinner.

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u70/Jespah_corgis/MonicaandRupert.jpg

Rupert made friends with a family of ducks one summer at the cottage and every evening when they came by, he would join them for a little swim around the lake.

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u70/Jespah_corgis/UglyDuckling.jpg

And this is Indie, a champagne Portuguese Water Dog - he and Rupert are the very best of friends and are great water buddies!

Because Sadie's introduction to our family has been rather unusual one might say, I don't have any pictures yet of Hank and Sadie playing together. But here they are sharing the same space at least!

I'll get better "togetherness" pictures once we're back down to just Sadie and Hank. :CUTE:

Oh my goodness . . . where to start?
Julie - I love the name Benji the Basenji! Too funny!
Amanda - The token butt shot is priceless!
Deb - Rupert is truly a friend to all - and the pic of him sleeping with your friend's daughter is so great!
Artos - I can't believe Trax sat still for all that face licking - yuk!
mtoy - your neighbors sound . . . nice . . .

And now, here are some pics of Jackie with her C2BC pals (Tucker, Lulu & Dillon), from the meet-up in March. I don't know who the rest of the dogs are in the large group picture, but they sure had fun running and playing with them at the park!:CUTE:

ETA: Ooops! In the car photo, it's Gus, not Dillon! (the other photos are Dillon) And in that car photo, they are all looking at Auntie Deb, holding Dillon and drying his paws!

The last photo of Zoey was great!

I liked the first group photo, Manymuddypaws. How did you get them to stay still for it?

The running photo of the dogs (mtoy) was good.

Jespah- I liked the fact that your dogs get along with your cats. Did you notice in the photo of the sleeping beauties...that Rupert doesnt seem to have a waist?

Fluffypants- I liked the car photo.

Am waiting for more photos of LoveMySadie.

Oh, now I feel like a really bad dog mom - my dogs don't have friends like the ones shown here! Our friends don't have dogs and all the relatives that do live hundreds of miles away.

I'm loving all the photos, so many good ones!

Fluffypants - I need a new car and am considering the Volvo model you have. How do you like it? I'm thinking a used one, new is too much $$ for me. The dogs in there are so cute!

I dug up another cute foto this morning- here is baby Wicca playing with my then roommate's dog Chloe- who is a Chug...hehehe....a pug/chihuahua cross.

Great pictures, everyone! Our corgis sure are a social bunch.

The first two pics are from the monthly corgi meetup - Trevor chasing around a puppy (affectionately known as the "butt whiff" picture :CUTE: , )and Trev (far left) playing "ring around the rosie" with two other corgis - notice the fluffy butt shot in that one!

Then we have a picture of The Girls - Kona and Bamboo, who Trevor loves desperately. Them loving him back - not so much! The last pic is of Bamboo doing what she does quite a bit - which is steal his bed. Hey I want my bed back!

Great pictures everyone. I was looking at the photo of Dillon, Tucker, Jackie, and Lulu in the back end of the wagon waiting.... how did THAT happen??? My two do not like to wait/stay. Getting out of the car usually means something fun is about to happen!

I took a vacation day today and it is 85 degrees and 94% humidity. Trying my hardest to keep the dogs out of the sun (we will swim in the lake tonight), quiet, and cool.

So to celebrate I want to start with pics from the Valentines Day snowstorm we had. Our good buddy Charlie (terrier wolfhound mix) got snowed in with us.

Wow, those are some great photos! I love them!

Here are some of Giz's buddys:
The First one is of Giz and his big sister Gracie. Giz does not like her getting ahead of him in a chase or running out the door. She's much bigger than him, but he can take her on in a good wrestling match.

The second one is of Sammie, his older brother, they fight like siblings.

The third picture is of the buddy Giz made at the Illinois corgi picnic, a youngcardi named Addie.

The last is Gizmo new play mate, Shrodinger the orange tabby. These two are like watching a circus, they provide hours of entertainment.

Great pictures everyone! I finally got a couple of shots with Gator and Checkers playing with their new friend (my neighbors Schnauzer, named Bowzer). Since we moved and have gotten to know the neighbor if she sees the boys out she will throw Bowzer over the fence for a bit to let them all play (with my permission, of course).... he also comes over anytime they are doing a cook-out or whatever so they don't have to worry about a kid accidentally letting him out of their yard, or lock him up. It works out nicely for everyone and all the dogs get along splendidly. Anyhow... here's a couple of shots from last week that I just got uploaded.

You're right COLCOLT, I've been on many movie sets in my career, and I know all about how lighting is key, It's part of my job to even order it, but I also know a great camera when I see it, and ZEPHYR has a great one. (But if he hadn't had such great subjects, not even the most professional lighting would have mattered. You can never take a bad photo of a Corgi!)

Haha...thanks to everyone for saying how nice the pics are. Actually my friend is the one who took the pic. My husband's camera is a Canon Digital Rebel. But those specific pics I posted are taken by a friend who owns a canon digital ...i think E20. Nothing special in the lighting and all that. Great ISO and post photo cleanups. She likes warm colours.

You can more photos from her camera and of her GR - www.herbiegr.blogspot.com Herbie is the dog in the picture. He is awesome.
