I have never thought of it before, but that sure is one of the benefits of a Corgi sleeping on his back. And the third photo, it's great, but poor Dale's eyes are glazed. I am so glad that he is up and about.

Wow! You can sure see the family resemblance in those two! Great shots... and so glad to hear Dale is feeling better after his big day at the vets.

It's good to see them together and I'm sure Dale will be up and running with Chip before long. I can imagine how hard it is on them to not be able to really play as usual but, with Dale on the mends, I know he has to be careful. I hope he heals up quickly and back to his usual self soon, Bonnie.

Dale's eyes are glazed. When he had his surgery, he was given a shot of the equivelent to morphine plus a major dose of antibiotics not to mention the anesthesia so he was a little drugged and I had already given him his pain medication.:BIGGRIN" That mauve rug is new for my dining room and they claimed it as their own before I could even get it completely laid down. They are sleeping on it tonight. I don't dare put Dale on the bed yet so they are both sleeping on the floor. Poor babies.

Oh I forgot to tell everyone the best part. They didn't shave Dale's pants off so he still has his pants. Chip's were shaved and have never grown in the same. I requested they not shave Dale in that area if it wasn't necessary. I wish I had known to do that with Chip.

I'm so glad that you mentioned that Bonnie, other people have thought that I was crazy. The vet who altered Miss Gambler is wonderful, and I love him, but he went overboard in the shaving, even went up the sides, and luckily he had a steady hand and it was evenly done, but her fur NEVER grew back properly, and not at all on her lower tummy. I have always mentioned it on subsequent visits, but they look at me as if I am imagining it. I know that they have to do it to reduce the risk of infection, BUT!!! Mojo didn't have tummy fur there, just a bright bunny pink tummy, so nothing to notice. As for the meds, poor Dale, that's some strong stuff, and not being human, you can't really explain to him why he's feeling so funny. I've been on morphine, and I will never forget all the wild dreams and thoughts, I can't imagine what a dog feels.

uh-oh Bonnie . . . it looks like Dale is having trouble relaxing . . . he looks SO uptight in that first picture!!! :BIGLAUGH:

Glad to hear heis doing well, and that he still has his underpants! And now MGM has me all curious about what a dog dreams on morphine! Just another reason to wish they spoke human!

Glad to hear Chip is on the mend and still has his pants on!
The last picture really shows off the family resemblance - I really hadn't thought other than their coloring they looked so much alike b4. Now you can see even the set of their ears are just alike - cool!
