PetSmart Corgi Sighting!!

Hey guys... just had to tell you about my corgi sighting today!!

I am cruising the aisles of PetSmart... had just grabbed an XPen on sale and turned the corner when I see this iddy biddy bunny butt just dissappear down another aisle. Well of COURSE I had to check it out when I find a GORGEOUS 16 week old female corgi! She was a beautiful R&W sable and her name was "Sadie". I had to explain my excitement to the VERY nice owner that I was getting my puppy in less than a week, and at the last minute remembered to mention C2bC forums to her. She said it was a great forum name, easy to remember. (accolades to Jespah for that!)

Darling little girl was just sweet as pie and very affectionate. It made my puppy fever skyrocket, that's for sure!!!!! +WUBCLUB+ I just hope I wasn't too much of a :CHATTERBOX: . Nice nice gal.

I've seen two Pems at PetSmart over the last couple of months and it was a real treat to see them there getting a fresh "do". I've only seen one other and that was downtown where I work and he was being walked close to the outside of the far end of the building...a red headed tri. It's always great to spot those little furballs.:CUTE:

HAHA! We went for Mac's crate. Colin looked at me before we went in: "So we're JUST getting the crate, right?!"

...Of course, we walked out with the little mat for under his food bowls and a Nylabone frisbee....

The last time I went to Petsmart, I saw the prettiest little tri. He was getting groomed and just sat on the table with the cutest smile while she was brushing him. I watched for several minutes. He seemed so happy.

Friday at work, we had a potluck for a couple of leaving employees. I was able to talk to some of my coworkers. One lady, who is working on her PhD in history oddly enough, asked me what my two dogs were. When I said Corgis, she just about jumped out of her chair! Turns out she used to have one and hopes to get another in the future. I showed her my two's dogster pages and she thought they were so adorable. +WUBCLUB+

So I have history-loving, corgi-loving co-worker!

I have to admit here that I played corgi stalker this week! Worse... I drug Checkers, hubby and son along with me LOL. We had gone for a walk and to play at the little water park (why I didn't bring both boys.... can be hard to handle both with 500 little kids asking to pet the doggies!). All the sudden I see a Great Dane and a Corgi in someone's backyard playing!! Sure enough... I headed over there with Checkers in tow and they were outside and immediately grabbed their boy. He's an adorable sable male... I think they said he was 9 months old and just as sweet as he could be. I told them I would run a card by later with the website info on it for them to check out. Have to do that still.. probably tomorrow! And yes... I told them I had seen their little boy and that I was stalking them on purpose LOL! I think I embarrased my husband, but he was good about it anyway... especially when he saw how crazy these people were over seeing another corgi too. The pups name is Toby.... didn't remember to ask the owners name. *blush*!

We did see a Cardi going into a Petsmart this week as we were driving away though.
