Hi i was thinking to switch my corgi pup's daily diet from Purina Pro Plan Lamb and rice to Eukanuba's Sensitive skin dry formula. Was wondering have anyone tried it before?! My pup still has demodetic mange at 5mths old was hoping that a sensitive skin formula dry food would atleast help abit on top of the medical shampoo

Another good site:
Dog food Quick Reference (http://www.petfoodratings.net/dogtable.html)
We switched Gromit from Iams to Candidae and are very happy with how his coat and general appearance has improved. He looked so nice that the vet asked what we were feeding him.

yup..after soo much reading.. i notice that the brand i was feeding was inappropriate...corn and other unwanted raw materials were used in the kibbles... I switched my pup to Wellness. I believe is a much better brand Thx for the websites i had a greater understanding how to check and what to expect from foods

I am seriously considering the switch to Wellness food. The dogs seem to react differently to the foods and you might end up switching multiple times before you find which one is best for your dog.
Good luck and hope the food switch helps.

ya hes only close to 5mths old and really just eats anything!! I dun understand the concept of some other brands.. the pet shop first gave me ProPlan.. and told me to increase the given amt by 1/2 cup after a mth and soo on...but other brands like Wellness... reduces the amount given for the continuing months. Why is this soo><?

I don't go by what the bag says. If I fed Connor the amount he's supposed to get he'd wouldn't be able to walk only roll. I have no idea What Annabelle was being fed but she loves the taste of the wild Salmon and is doing well on it.

The difference in the amount of food to fed between the proplan & wellness is due to the difference in density, the amount of nutients in the food which can be absorbed vs those excreted as waste. The higher the density of the food, the less of it you feed and comes out as waste.
