Here are Gus and the Girls in their new pen! So far they are not finding it a delightful experience - they spent much of their first 20 minute session there telling me in no uncertain terms that this was pure puppy abuse! :ARG:

I forgot to ask when I first posted...can the pen stay outside, or do I need to bring it in every time that we are not using it?

Is it possible? They get cuter by the day! :CUTE:

Get it out of the weather when possible. I just bought one and will be using it indoors for the most part. Need to find some cheapo linoleum too, to put under it! (thanks for the idea Jespah)

Well, mine have been in the rain a few times..... They still work but eventually the finish fades some.

I have the same (2) x-pens that I have been using for more than 12 years. They have been outdoors a lot as we use them when we camp.

They certainly don't look as nice as new, and I wouldn't use them inside the house as it would mark the carpets and scratch the rolled flooring. But we bought the plastic play yard for when we needed it indoors. (Which of course can go outdoors too.)

Trust me, I was a sane cat person. I was attacked by a dog when much younger, so was never a dog person, and never thought that I would own one, but when I went over to the dark side, I went all the way. Mojo has only made it worse!!!

can the pen stay outside, or do I need to bring it in every time that we are not using it?Our pen has been outside for 6 years through snow, rain, etc because we didn't need it inside here. I have so much stuff it is easy to block with a box (I know that changes with a puppy). We used it on our 10' wide deck as a "gate" with a cinder block to hold it! I am so impressed how it looks fine.
