Has anyone tried one of these, or something similar for their corgi's teeth?

No, I have looked at them and wondered, so I'd love to hear too!

Use Easy Brush as a reward, and praise your dog when he begins to chew.
I can't say I'd do that with Chester's love to chew. But if I remember this item I'll order when I order his food next month. Chester would love to give it a try or not.

I think it would be worth a try - I should be brushing my twos' teeth - but not sure I'd be able to wrestle Rupert down to do so.

Looks very interesting. Can't brush Cooper's teeth. After snapping those huge dog tooth brushes into pieces, I gave up. I like all of my fingers just the way they are. Mr. Scaredy cat, er dog, is hard to convince the tooth brush is not evil.
I would give it a try!

Connie - have you tried the CET chews? They look like pieces of rawhide and they have enzymes that help with the fighting of plaque and such. They aren't cheap - but then neither is dental cleaning - plus the risk of going under.

I'll occasionally use a gauze pad to wipe the kids teeth down but I'm not a regular brusher :( This looks like something I'd like to try.

Canine dental related......
I've come across coupons for free Greenies, buy one get one.
The US site:
http://www.greenies.com/en_us/exclusiveoffers/
The Canadian site:

I have given then to my dogs, but do so sparingly, Dylan bites off chunks more than chews and those pieces can impact.

No, have not tried them. We have been giving him "Dental Checkups". They are Veterinary Oral Health Council Accepted according to the bag. Cooper loves them but.... I think they give him smooshy poops. Don't know if it is due to the omega 3 in them as he also gets fish oil as part of his hip/joint health.
I will check out the CET chews. Thanks!

We use the Blue Chews, by Vetradent, also VCOHA accepted. Also not cheap, but they seen to be helping.

I looked at something similar to the Easy Brush when I was contemplating how to get Trevor's teeth cleaner (he was getting a lot of build up on his teeth.)
He liked/likes having his teeth brushed (yummy chicken toothpaste) but it wasn't doing a good enough job by itself.
I finally bit the bullet and started buying quantities of bully sticks (the non-stinky kind from New Zealand) - also not cheap. After just a short period of time, no more plaque build up. No kidding, his teeth look like they did when he wa a pup - nice and white!

Gizmo loves it too. But we play the game, brush the teefers, and we'll put our finger in his mouth and rub his teeth.

I give both of mine either Checkups or Greenies. Both are very good for helping control the tartar and plaque buildup. However I don't give them everyday as I should. Make sure that if giving Greenies that you get the right size for your dog though. Medium is what corgis should have.
I have noticed recently that Murphey's teeth really need to have a cleaning done on them. I was looking at that same toothbrush in Dr. Foster & Smith when I was ordering their 'night night' treats.

A tartar removal product that I am trying with the boys is this one:

It has been recommended by a few friends and they say it really works.
