So, today I made the mistake of walking into Petsmart. I'm a consumer, I admit it, they have me at shiney packaging.
So I saw the Pet Head grooming products were on sale and got to sniffing. I picked up an oatmeal shampoo that smells like Blueberry Muffins. The 'kids' need their before winter bath (besides, since Caleb is going to meet his adoring public at Petsmart for the Howl O Ween social he needs to get his whites white again) so I had to have it.
They also got some new nail clippers as mine were starting to stick.
So, what are your favorite pet shampoos? Why? Do they smell yummy or no?

I use the same shampoo on Midge that I use on myself - Kirkland Signature giant jug-o-shampoo from Costco. We both have a nice fresh scent and good shine.

Don't have a favorite. I look for mild, usually with an oatmeal or tea tree oil.
Not sure I would want to smell blueberry muffin on me or Cooper, though. Cooper and MDH share a blueberry muffin every morning. It is now a ritual. Coop waits patiently (now) for his crumbs as the buckets of drool plink on the floor:TWITCHY: Wouldn't want Cooper to start eating himself thinking he was a blueberry muffin:LAUGH:

One that doesn't have a warning for children. Which turned out to be oatmeal brand in Walmart. It lasts years here as Chester rarely gets a bath.

We still use the same shampoo we got when Henry was little and we were clueless, I think it's this stuff: http://www.petco.com/product/109035/Bobbi-Panter-Natural-Soothing-Dog-Shampoo.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch. It smells nice and has never bothered either of the boys' skin.
Now that I'm reading it more closely it says it's safe for cats, but contains tea tree oil...isn't that toxic to cats? I don't bathe mine anyway but that just seems weird.

We like to use Bad Hair Day on the boys.

Well I'm sure this bottle will last ages, unless something crazy happens the dogs get bathed twice a year. Spring and before Winter.
