Due to the calendar work and my bad back, my poor dogs have no new costumes for this year. I hoped to get some at Target last month when I was down in the US, but they didn't have any of the really good ones. I really wanted Rupert to be a giant squirrel. I love irony.

This year the party pemmies had a peter pan theme -- the boys were pirates and Apple was a fairy/Tinkerbelle. We won third place which was a bunch of gourmet doggie cookies, AND we won a rafle basket with a bunch of dog toys and grooming products.

Since we didn't make it to any organized Halloween events, I think I am going to take her to Old Town on Sunday for a walk in her costume. She gets plenty of attention on ordinary days...imagine what will happen Sunday!

If I could smuggle her on the Metro some way, I would take her with me to the Stewart/Colbert Rally 4 Sanity on Saturday...:LAUGH:...she would love it. But alas, I can't.

Well, he never looks very happy in pictures, but the leaves aren't nearly as cool as the school bus or fire truck of years past, so I think he looks especially grumpy here. :BIGLAUGH:

Oh my!!!! Rudy and Bella are adorable! I love the beret/sailor hat on Rudy. Either way the costume works. And Bella is just the perfect stead for a fairy to enjoy.

We don't do costumes (pooh on us!) but at the Florida Corgi Picnic coming up this Saturday, I have ordered a T-Shirt for both of the boyz, and one for me and Tom, too of course. I'll be sure to get a picture (okay, LOTS of photos during the event) of Angel and Andy in their special shirts.
