Scenthurdle Racing Champion!

Wicca earned the last 35 points she needed for her Scenthurdle Racing Champion title this past weekend!

I am so proud of her. We really haven't had a chance to race much the past few years, so it has taken a while to get.

For those of you who don't know what Scenthurdle Racing is here is a link to a video I made of our new team practicing. Wicca is not in it, but you'll recognize miss pixel. :) This team is making their debut this winter.

In any case it is a super fun game that is sanctioned by the CKC. It is not very popular though as it does take a fair amount of training and commitment!

I wish Scenthurdles had the popularity of Flyball as I think it is a better game and not so noisy!

Thanks for posting the clip Amanda, it looks like so much fun! I can't find anything out here about it though.

Is the jump height determined my the height set of the shortest dog on the team?

IMO A too a revved up dog can hurt himself playing Flyball with the repeated slamming into the board. (Danny)

Congrats to you and Wicca!! I loved the video with pixel show scenthurdle.. The team is adorable... and what a beautiful collie Kort is... i like the mix of the team. Anyway, What a wonderful accomplishment for you and Wicca! She is one fantastic dog!

thanks! i am very proud of her. She has a good time doing whatever I ask of her.

Pixel is doing a great job aswell- I am looking forward to her first race. She has the scenting down pat, now just needs to work on speed and distractions. :)
