Well, I told my two yesterday morning that last night would be a photo shoot for our party animal theme. Eager beavers that they are, they started before I got home!
Uh, we finished the first bottle and just thought what the heck, might as well make it 2!

Who knew Rupert, the smiler, would be such a serious drunk!

Jemma learned the hard way that mixing red and white wine is not the best of plans.

Rupert just kept on sitting there!

It was a little difficult getting Jemma out for her evening tinkle!

Wonderful Pictures, Deb! I love Jemma's bleary-eyed expression in the last shot.
But I have some questions - what is the legal drinking age in Canada? - are Rupert and Jemma old enough to imbibe? - and just how did they get those bottles open? - If there was some human assistance involved, does that leave the human open to Aiding and Abetting Juvenile Delinquency charges in Canada?
Just asking

Well, I had the same questions myself, believe me!
Rupert brought up that whole "dog years" thing. He said that at almost 9 years old in people years he's at least 60 dog years old and Jemma is almost 30. Well, he kind of had me there.
As to the wine, unfortunately I have a dog-accessible wine rack and dogs do not care if a wine is "corked". Apparently, when done with a partner in crime - one holds the bottle, the other pulls the cork out with their teeth!
I gotta get a breed of dogs that isn't so smart. :NAH:

My old pal Watson back about 2001. One of my favorite pictures of him.

Last night I hosted a Christmas Party for family and friends. 26 people, including a ten year old and two toddlers, kept Link on the move. There was always something to check out, or a kid wanting to play with him. Playing with the toddlers, he would look at me as though to say "You need to get me one of these!".
Hours passed, and finally we walked the last guest downstairs to the garage. After saying our goodbyes, I headed back upstairs to find this tuckered out little guy.
