My dogs each got three new presents, but knowing how much Rupert especially loves opening presents, I got a little silly this year. Christmas Eve, I wrapped about 30 of their old toys and then for the next 2 days my two had a blast opening them all.

Ok, so Sassy thought the Gingerbread house was for her and so she opened it (when no one was looking)
Let it be said that this was our first attempt at a "from scratch" gingerbread house that took three days to actually complete! So it was especially heartbreaking to find the eaten corner...luckily there was nothing that could make her really sick.
Good thing I had pictures, the chickens have finished it off now haha!
Ahh, but another 2010 memory lol!

deb...you crack me up!!! no really good pics for us this year, mummy got lazy and just left the big blue bag for us to scrounge through and get our own toys out..no paper, no tearing, no nuthin' and thats MY favorite part....but we did get good "inside toys" for us to use on the new floor which we are told was our real present this year...we DON'T love that gift at all....no traction, exspecially for cammie cuz shes sooo fast...oh well...there's always next year...bark at ya later, colbster

Deb, these photos are truly award-worthy! Every one of them!! And I understand the frustration over the gingerbread house. I made a masterpiece this year too, and had it sitting on the dining room table - a room that the dogs rarely frequent. It had been in it's spot about 30 minutes when I heard a very suspicious sound. Yep, Hank (he with the long, tall legs) had reached way into the center of the giant table and helped himself to some of the red licorice sidewalk! :ARG:

The gingerbread house immediately went into the library where I could close the French door - we could see it within but Hank could not stroll by at will. And there is stayed! :WINK:
