Colin and I just found this online:

Hopefully at least some of you have seen the Animal Planet TV show Breed All About It. They have profiled the Cardigan Welsh Corgi on this show (although, as far as I can see, they haven't done the Pembroke...which, as a person partial to Cardis, is refreshing!). You can now download this episode from iTunes! The episode costs $1.99 and is a half-hour long. For those of you who hate Digital Rights Management, you can share the episode for free to a limited number of people (I believe their current limit is 5 or 6?), but those people have to be authorized to view the file (they need your iTunes password). Colin and I are in the process of downloading now.

Here's the iTunes URL for the show:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewVideo?id=161522245&p=153925453&s=143441

If for some reason that link doesn't work, you can also purchase the episode this way:

1) Open the iTunes on your computer and access the iTunes Store. (In case anyone is interested and a first-timer, the store is symbolized by a green shopping bag icon on the left-hand side menu.)

2) Using the left-hand side menu in the store, click on "TV Shows."

3) Once in the TV Shows area, scroll down to the list of networks. Choose Animal Planet (there is an alphabetical list).

4) Click on the icon for Breed All About It.

5) The Cardigan Welsh Corgi episode is 14th on the list; click the gray button on the right that says "buy episode" to begin the download. Depending on your account preferences, you may be prompted to enter your password before the download begins.

Keep in mind that you do need to a)have the iTunes software on your computer and b) possess an iTunes account (which is free to start, no obligation to ever buy anything) in order to download the episode. The file file size is also 300 MB, so make sure you have enough room for it on your computer!

Enjoy!

The show has been done on Pems too. It's been on Animal Planet. I've seen the one on pems but not the one on cardis.

Nice to know that they're not ignoring anyone, then! :) I just couldn't find a clip of the episode on Animal Planet's website (they have a bunch of others) or the video for download on iTunes.

Funny thing about this episode--I saw it the week before I was supposed to get Dudley. I was so excited and couldn't wait until it came on!

I used to watch Breed All About It - I never saw either Corgi one, though. I checked it out on iTunes a while ago and they don't have the Pem episode. I wish they had all of them.

Breed All About It runs at weird times now, like the odd Saturday morning at 8 a.m., it seems. I never catch it.

It's pretty much every Saturday morning... not quite so early, though... maybe 8:30 or 9? (Close enough, I guess ;). I say this only because my body is so adjusted to waking up early for school that I'm always awake by 7 or 8 on Saturday...Colin, of course, is still a master at sleeping in! So I've taken to turning on Animal Planet and watching TV in bed until I can get him up ;) They usually show one dog show or another early on, and then Breed All About it comes on after.

I didn't realize they ever got around to doing the one on Pems. Kept hearing one was in the works, but didn't know they'd finally done one. I've seen the Cardigan one several times. Some of Cassidy's relatives might even be in that one.

I saw the Cardi one on Breed all about it maybe a year or so ago. It was very well done. Hope to catch the Pem one sometime too.

Well, I've never had the luck to catch the Cardigan one, shoot, and maybe Cassidy's relatives huh? I'll have to look for it.

I'm sure they did one on Pems. But in searching the site I don't see one. Who knows, could be I'm wrong. Wishful thinking maybe?

No need to look if you use iTunes :)

Breed All About It is on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:30am ET on Animal Planet (yes, I watch it every week). I have seen that Cardi one 2 or 3 times, but have never heard of a Pem one (and I have sent them a few emails asking for one too!).

Just caught this this morning on Animal Planet! Just in case anyone is able to catch the last few minutes with me or wants to check it out on iTunes after the fact.

This was the second time I've seen the cardi one, with a few words about the pem. I've never seen a pem one either. We watch regularly in bed on Saturday morning...Maeve watches too. I've never had a dog watch TV as intently as she does. If there are dogs or horses, she's all about it!:CUTE:

No, none of them are on C2BC. Although Peggy's Cassidy is probably related to the ones from Wales belonging to Mair Rhys-Jones.
