We had a corgi /dachshund gathering at the Singapore Botanical Gardens on Saturday. Benny's mom (Zoe) told me about it...so I went with Dexter's parents. One of the people there took a lot of photos. Just got permission from them to reproduce some of the photos in a form of a collage.
Enjoy....
I think Benny's blog has some details as well....

That looks like it was lots of fun; they must have burned off a lot of energy. I love hearing new names of Corgis - many I have never thought of. I am speaking of "Bingo" which is a cute, unusual name.

Linda, you need to rent the movie BINGO, it's hilarious, and the dog who played Bingo is a Corgi mix. I have it and have watched it a few times with Miss Gambler, it gets two paws up from her.

Hey Artos! Nice collage!
Yeah, Singapore is a perpetually warm and humid place. Fortunately for us, the sun wasn't out and shining on us cos it was past 4pm. Temperature was probably around 30 deg Cel (about 86 deg F) and humidity about 85 to 95%.
Artos was great! She brought along a mixture of ice, peanut butter and pumpkin for the dogs to share! Benny thoroughly loved it and will love you, Artos, forever. haha!

It's so fun to see photos of gatherings from all over the world! It looks like a bunch of very happy dogs and the pumpkin/ice/peanutbutter mix sounds like a great treat for the gang!

Thanks folks. Learnt how to make the "pumpkin, peanut butter, yogurt and water" eat from Cool2BCorgi forum!
See how your wisdom has blessed our corgis in hot Singapore?! Ha.

Its was purely coincidental. I met Luckie's mum online and she reads my blog and I read hers. She said she was going to the botanical gardens and asked if i wanted to join in and to invite the corgis...
So i invited the corgis and called the outing the Long Bodied, Short-Legged, Big Eared outing.
Turned out the corgi group was nuts and showed in numbers. Haha!

Now you just need some Basset Hounds to join your group. All those long bodies, would be so cute in pictures.

Artos, what a wonderful time and great collage. Is this the gardens with a lake/pond? It was beautiful and weddings liked to go for photos there when I visited. I remember how fragrant the gardens were. How nice you can take your dogs in.
Right now I'd love to smell the humid garden fragrance in Singapore. Here, we have the fragrance of dust and pine tree pollen.

I am so jealous Bonnie, I've seen those races on tv, and they are soooooooo cute, usually held at a horse racing track, and just tons of dachshunds, and they train for it, and compete to get to the big races. Mojo can put skidmarks on the carpet, she has some speed, and it's a good thing that Miss Gambler has that herding instinct. I always thought that Miss Gambler was fast, and she is, but Mojo is even faster. She's so low, and when she takes off her ears literally fly out to the side and just float, my husband says that he always thinks of the Flying Nun when he sees her run.

They have dachshund and chihuahua races at our horse track. It is a lot of fun to watch.Do they chase the rabbit like the greyhounds? Do they stay in their lane or work their way over to the inside track. This would be so funny to see, their little legs working, their little butts a swinging.

As far as I know, they don't chase anything, just run to their owner, and I love watching it on tv, and would love to see it in person. Mojo, and all dachshunds, have such a funny run, and with their ears flying, it's really cute.

No, they don't chase anything. It is like MGM said, they just run to their owners. They do look really cute. Dogs are everywhere!
