if you are near Seattle and can make it to either of these, do! It's always a fun, corgi-filled afternoon!

#1 - A Corgi Afternoon

The Woodinville Corgi Crew (and their hoomans) would like to invite all to the informal "Woodinville Corgi Afternoon" on Wednesday, May25th at our home in Woodinville WA, from noon until whenever. (Let us know if you need directions.)

Beverages will be provided, but you can bring a snack as long as you promise to take any leftovers with you when you go home.

All well behaved Corgis and Corgi-wanna-be's are welcome. For those who haven't been we have roughly half an acre of fenced yard where Corgis can run free. (Photos and links to photos of previous events are on http://corgwn.com.)

Rain or shine - just bring boots & towels if it rains :-).
#2 - "THE" Picnic

The "official" PNW Corgi Picnic will be on Saturday August 6th. Save that date - we'll send out more details when that gets closer.

Keep an eye on http://corgwn.com for details and updates to our events. (You can also find out how to email for directions.)

Helen, Dagmar & Sammy
(& Leo & Kathy)

We might be able to make it to the afternoon thing on May 25, if I can manage to get a scarf or vest made for Quiddi that says "DO NOT FEED ME". After last week I sure can't take any chances.

Weird, I swear I replied to this yesterday. Beth, I made scarves last year that say do not feed me (actually they have a bone with a circle/slash design over it in red on white so it is pretty obvious it means no treats.) Candy had one and I don't think anyone fed him. I'll bring you one. (Or two, if you want!)

We can probably make the Saturday event. We really wanted to make it to Woodinville, but I'm stuck in class at the time. Love the scarves!

I know the weekday afternoon is a problem for many- Kathy and Leo always have a conflict between available weekends and knowing people can't always get out of work or school on a weekday. This time weekday won out!

Bobbie, we will probably make the Wed. one . I would love one of the scarves for Quiddi so if I don't see you before can you bring it to the "corgi afternoon" please.
Thanks so much.
By the way, we were at a folk club in BC last night and thought of you, one of the singers did the funniest song about a turtle named Myrtle to the tune of "Will the Circle Be Unbroken"
Myrtle falls out an upper floor window , the refrain is; Will the turtle be unbroken"

Poor turtle; was it unbroken?

I'll bring one. (Several.) Looking forward to seeing you and I hope some of the rest of you can come.

It was unbroken actually, it hit someone on the way down. Really funny song, wish I could remember the whole thing.

1 out of 2 ain't bad, and I'm glad to hear other people get an opportunity to show up that otherwise wouldn't!

(and if it was anything but geographically weighted regression, I'd just ditch for the day...unfortunately, if I'm not around for stats class, I get *really* lost)
