Corgis shed a lot. I'm lazy a lot. Unfortunately, these two things don't work together well.
I was wondering if anyone's had luck using a Roomba to collect corgi shedding? In particular, I'm wondering if the Roomba's strong enough to pick up corgi hair and has enough...I don't know, bag capacity?
And how does your Corgi react?

I have one. And yes and no. It does a good job picking up hair and the container holds quite a bit of hair, but it does much better on higher pile carpet than on low. Does okay on flat floors, too. Just not so great on low pile (fairly low.) I love the Roomba. You do have to clean the moving parts carefully if you pick up a lot of hair as the hair gets twisted around the little inserts at the end of the brushes. So you take those out and clean them when you clean the brushes. Not hard but if you don't do it it will stop picking up.

The best part of the Roomba- the dogs don't bark at it!
I bought one and ended up owning 3. The other 2 were warranty replacements. I love the Roomba and when I used it, it made keeping the floors clean so easy (I had 2 corgis at that time). But they kept breaking. Their customer service is top notch, and I'm sure I could have got a 4th one too when the last one went bad but I just gave up.
ps: my floors are dirtier now too

I had one Dirt Dog replaced under warranty but nothing else- I broke a wheel on a Roomba out of warranty when I dropped it. The new dirt dog (which is my favorite next to the Scooba) works great when I use it, which isn't often enough.
