Queen Elizabeth 'gets e-mail account'
The Queen has reportedly set up her own e-mail account so that she can send messages to her grandchildren.
It is understood the 81-year-old monarch, who already has a mobile phone and an iPod, has been "bombarding" family members with e-mails.
Last year, she made her Christmas Day message available as a podcast and she is also said to use her mobile to send texts to princes William and Harry.
Wonder if she'll find her way here

Well, I do hope she finds her way here - she could use our advice!! Good for her for getting techie in her 80's - you are never to old to learn!!
Good to see you Laura, haven't seen you for a bit - how are the "kids"? What is the weather like in your area at this time of year? Does it get really hot??

Deb- been very busy in school- unlike the US schools we go on until
July 20th before our Summer break of 6 weeks-
CIndy is now the fittest corgi in the swimming pool- well, the only one actually- she can do 15 minutes non stop now whereas used to be only 2 minutes at a time. Two more sessions before graduation- she looks slimmer but has bulked up a bit in muscle so her weight has not changed much.
Sooty will be 10 next month but luckily is still like a 5 year old.
The weather- April in low 70s, May wet and windy, JUne has been mixed, up to 80s last week, now back to showers and 60s.

And if the Queen calls in how will we know her? What would we all tell her?
I'll go first
I'd like her to know that Cindy is half sister to her Emma and Monty.

I will ask The Queen how to use an I-Pod :CUTE:
I visited her a few years ago but unfortunatly she wasn't receiving visitors that day.
Have pictures of me standing in front of the Gate at Buckingham Palace... if I squint my eyes and look really hard I think I see a little corgi fuzz by her Entry Door! :BIGGRIN"

Well, this isn't her direct email, but you can email the Queen from this link - just scroll down and click. Who wants to email her and invite her to C2BC :BIGGRIN" Deb, maybe you should since you said she could use our advice - though I am not sure how she would take that if she decides to say hello:LAUGH: - You could tell her that a relative of Monty and Emma are on here and would like to say hello.

Well I say what the heck - let's invite her!!! It's perfect for her, anonymous, she can be safely ensconced on the throne (no not that one!!) and be posting madly away!! So, if you see we have a new member from England named "Betty' - it could be her!!!

She'll probably say she is from Scotland to confuse us.

I think the queen should join our forum and share her corgi pics with us and tell us about her corgi adventures! (my nephew always refers to Milo as "the king" so hence the photo, I made this photo into a card for him).

How cute Milo looks - his expression almost looks like the Queens:LAUGH: maybe if you could somehow attach that picture to the email to her, she would join.

That would make a great costume for Halloween, with the owner going as the Queen. Great photo!!!

You missed my post at the site that is not named in October. I won our office costume contest as the Queen. The photo is in my office - I'll try and remember to post it here for you MGM. I have a Douglas Snuggle Toy Corgi at work (named Hamish), so he was my Corgi - real ones are frowned on in my office. +SAD+

Please do Deb, and shame on them for not allowing you to take the real thing. When it was take your dog to work day this year, I BEGGED my husband to take my two, even one of them, but his boss frowns on that too, unless they can sniff out drugs. I keep telling him to get Mojo trained to do that. (I NEED A BREAK FROM MY TWO!!!)
