I just got an e-mail about the speciality. Is anybody else planning on going? I'm not sure where I'm staying yet but if you go to motels.com the price listed is cheaper than the "special" price listed at the PWCCA site. They are going to be offering the DM test for half price. Hope to see a lot of our friends there. connor will be doing rally and if I get my nerve up obedience too.

I think that's wonderful that they are offering it, and at half price too. The more the corgi-public knows that DM exists, the more that (hopefully) more breeders will do the testing before the do their breeding.

Yes, one of our wheelcorgi members just got her younger dogs's status back as clear and carrier, and it it occurred to me that while no dog getting DM today could have been the result of a tested breeding, but in ten years when a corgi gets DM and the owner learns Only then that the breeder could have prevented it by judicious breeding, what is the breeder going to say?

I agree for $22.50 it's well worth it.

I probably will I just have to decide if I should go for novice or pre novice. If they didn't have any kind of stay I'd be more likely to do the pre novice but since I have about two months to work on it I may just go for the novice. and if he breaks his stays then we're the entertainment

We will probably be there for one of the days of the Nationals - I would like to go on a day where we would be cheering at least one of our C2bC'ers on. :BIGGRIN"

I'd love to have Rupert tested and that certainly is a good price.

I am hoping to go and enter Malcolm in agility. I am used to being the entertaiment, so that won't bother me :BIGGRIN"

Haven't decided what days to be there yet.

Agility is going to be on Monday this year. I got an e-mail this morning saying that they are looking for stewards for obedience. After finding out that I can run the brat and be a steward I volunteered. It sounds like they need more people so if anybody is interested I can give you the woman who is in charge. Experience not needed

I hope to take the 30th off for the Mayflower herding trial so I probably won't be down this year.

I'll be there in spirit!!!!
