This is one of the last pictures I took of the three reds/sables before they left. Pretty cute!

The three tri's are headed to their temporary home at the breeder's this afternoon.

This has been quite a ride!!! Thanks for all of your help and support - it has been invaluable to me! Barbara, you were absolutely a life-saver telling me about this site - thanks! :NOTWORTHY:

Leslie ~ I sure hate it that all the pups are gone. I hope their new owners will join us here and keep us updated on those precious pups. Hope that you and Sadie are doing ok today.

I'm just back from delivering the puppies to the breeder, and I feel very good about the entire process. She was waiting at the door for them to arrive, had a large xpen set up in the family room, and her male and two females greeted me at the door.

She and her daughters ooh'd and aah'd appropriately over all three of them, and scooped them up as soon as we walked in the door. I had taken copies of their vet records for the new owners with the vet's phone number, a bag of the food they have been eating, and a couple of their toys.

So...it's back to Sadie and me! And we will definitely continue to post! They promised to let me know about each of the puppies' new families, so I will share that info as soon as I have it too!

Happy Sunday afternoon everyone!

I'm depressed. I have so enjoyed this virtual puppy raising experience. We are very glad you found us and that we got to be hands-off pup parents too. I know I learned a lot.

We look forward to hearing more about Sadie and you as time goes by.

Thanks Leslie for sharing Gus and the girls with us - you did a great job!

Thanks Deb! I met the "rogue" father of Sadie's brood while I was there. He's a gorgeous, huge male tri who is mostly red and white, but has a black saddle. Seeing him made all of the puppies' markings and sizes make even more sense, especially since Sadie is so petite and they were not - all except sweet Gertie of course! +WUBCLUB+

Sounds like he's a red headed tri.

I was just thinking about you Leslie and wondering how the empty nest feeling was going. Glad you have the photos to treasure to trigger the wonderful memories of the litter. Now you can focus on your Sadie and we'll enjoy hearing about you both.

With school out and the puppies gone, I'm a free lady! This morning, Sadie walked into the shower (Puppy Palace) to check it out, then went outside to sniff the patio and back yard. Satisfied that the puppies' disappearance wasn't a cruel joke, she has spent the morning squirrel-watching with Hank.

And I'm headed out to lunch with a friend!

I had an email from the breeder this morning...she said the three puppies were doing great and had discovered the cats! She said they'd been spending quite a bit of time "barking" at the two resident cats.

All is well!

Sounds like all is well in your world. I think I'd still be sad that they're gone - in fact I am and I never even met them!! Thank goodness we are 5 days from major puppy inundation here!! Mac, Colby Jack and Merrie's pup will be keeping us suffering puppy fever soon!!

Part of me is very sad...I really miss them a lot! But, I'm feeling so good about their new homes and new home possibilities that it's a little easier. And I am looking forward to having Sadie back!

And, I too can't wait to hear all about the new puppies arriving so very soon!!

Oh no, the poor cats, I bet the pups are fascinated with them; brings back memories of Cody chasing my cats and them running to take cover; glad that part is over.
