Saw a Cardi on Dogs with Jobs

I saw a show on Animal Planet today that is new to me. I think it is called Dogs with Jobs. Anyway, one of the dogs featured was a beauftiful black and white Cardi. She lives on a hobby farm in Ohio and she was herding sheep. What was funny is that she is kind of dainty and princess-y and hates to get her paws dirty: for a herding dog, that is hysterical.
She actually lost points at a herding trial because she took too much time trying to avoid walking through a mud puddle to get through the fence gate. So funny. She had the most beautiful, intelligent expression.
I think I would love to have a Cardi!! Her owner had 2 other Cardis, but her black and white was by far the prettiest! The tip of her tail was white and so fluffy.

Darn, I didn't see that show. I did see the other day the new "dog whisperer" show on animal planet made in Britain called "Its me or the dog". I really like her approach on barking at other dogs in a park. Instead of jerking, she turned and walked in the opposite direction. After 10 turn aways, the dog realized it was never going to meet the other dog if the barking continued.

I love the white tip on cardi tail because that was how we could see where Pepper was at night! Our new puppy has the white tip tail (all 3 do). I had once dreamed of living on a hobby farm, well at least I have the dog for it!

I have not seen that episode of dogs with jobs, it is a show that i have seen for a while now, but not on animal planet... it used to air on National Geographic channel and i would catch it there... some of the stories on it are really wonderful and tear jerking, and others you want to reach into the screen and smack the owner upside the head for being such a moron... but mostly good people, good dogs and fun show.. I am sorry to have missed the cardi... i would have loved to see that.
