We won a few workers' raffles at a recent agility tournament. One of the prizes was a small stash of Bil Jac liver treats.

I know nothing about them, other than the stats (no calories, but apparently 8 per treat from another source). Dog treat labels are uninformative.

Anyone know if these are decent? Because Jenna thinks they're little meat-scented crack rocks, and I've *never* got this much focus from her via a single treat. I think she'd trade her leg for one. But I think a double-cheeseburger tastes pretty good, and I know what the score on those is.

Any thoughts before I buy a flat of these things? She'll do *anything* for them. It's amazing.

I have used the Bil jac treats for many years before I made my own liver treats at home. They are like puppy crack lol....they can't resist them.

I used to use those when Lexus was a puppy. Cut them up into little tiny bits and mix in with regular treats - will give the flavor and scent without all the unknowns.
Found that my dogs work equally as well for bacon, leftover steak bits, Dick's Burgers. Whatever works, in moderation, of course.

Connor will work for anything including crusts of bread, pieces of fruit, cheerios, I usually mix some of the "good stuff" in with the boring.

My dogs love them. I also call it puppy crack... unfortunately now they respond when I say anything about puppy crack lol

Yeah, Jenna too. However, I really get bonus focus out of these -- tried them at a strange, new arena this weekend after fussing about with the normal string cheese, and saw an immediate shift in attention. This was the first time I think I've ever seen the "high value" difference...I thought EVERY treat was high value! :P
