Yes! Lulu passed her CGC test tonight!

We have held her class for he last 5 weeks in the basement of a family home about 10 minutes away. Five dogs in the class.

With all the rain we have had serious flooding and the basement we held class in got flooded. So we tested in the family's garage. New surroundings, new smells, etc. And... no treats!

Lulu was pretty distracted at first but she settled right down and did great.

A very special treat: The Friendly Stranger was Wisley the Corgi and his Mom!!!

So now Miss Lulu has big shoes to fill, she is a Canine Good Citizen.

We celebrated with fresh roast beef!

Well, apparently my little one is taking her new role of CGC seriously.

Last night about 10 pm she wanted to go out and play, of course Mama's Boy Tucker wouldn't go out with her.

So I put her electric fence collar on her and let her out. I watched her from the window while she ran around and barked at the darkness, sniffed the creek, then she disappered around the side of the house. I followed her from the windows and she played out on the front lawn for about 10 minutes.

When I called her in the first thing I noticed was her electric collar was gone. Yikes, those things go for about $250!!!!

So first thing this morning I got them up and I traced Lulu's path. No collar. I was swearing at my self about having to cough up another $250 and when I look up, here comes Lulu trotting across the lawn with her electric collar in her mouth!!!

Good Lulu!!!!

Oh and yes, the tail was held high and over her head!!!!

Congratulations Lulu! We are so proud of you. We would love to try to get Ace his CGC, but I just don't think we can do any more driving than we already do ;)!

Glad Lulu found her collar. And we do appreciate the laughs you gave us!:D

How cute is that! she brought her collar back to you; I don't think Cody would have ever done that.
