Okay, here is my question: sometimes i've noticed Milo has a drippy nose. Not often, and it is always clear. At first I thought he had just been at the water bowl, but it is not that. It is not mucusy, he doesn't sneeze, it just looks like water. I just wonder if all dogs have that???
I grab a tissue and go after him and he thinks it is a game a runs away. Sometimes he uses ME as a kleenex. Ugh. It doesn't seem to be chronic.

Dylan has that from time to time, I've always assumed that it was maybe sweat.

Interesting question Lori.

I'm wondering if it's just certain times of the year that you notice this. Miss Gambler's eyes will look a little red and wet, and she'll get a runny nose, and these are the exact same times that my allergies are acting up. They can react to the the environment just like us. And it doesn't have to be nature, it can be room spray, perfume, candles, etc.....

Zip's nose does that, too. So far, I haven't seen Zia and Zeke's noses doing that.

It's normal and nothing to worry about. Some dogs do it and some don't. My whippet does it when I do his nails. No, I don't know why, I assume stress, but he doesn't do it at other stressful times so who knows.

both Dillon and Gus get this from time to time, especially when laying on their back and then turning over, then they end up with that drippy nose... and i do "nose prints" where i press their nose onto a pant leg or a Tshirt, and get a perfect nose print... LOL!
